What followed soon after a painful amount of quietness that was both awkward and ear deafening due to how absurdly quiet it was. The only sound that was heard was the cracking of the wood in the fireplace as well as the occasional barking of the dogs outside. 

Kanon got quiet and immediately exhaled a sigh of relief. "Even if you do not share the same amount of feelings or what not with me, please, just do not go telling everyone in the Umbra Knight Corps that you up and rejected me like that." Kanon said as he got up from his spot and started walking to the kitchen.
