More paperwork.

Finishing the crystal defence system, it activates, spreading across the entire city zombies within, burning to a crisp

Moaning out in agony as they collapse, only bones remaining in the Town, steadily killing any undead that enter.

Akiyama walks back to his study. Sitting in the chair, the butler comes in with a stack of paperwork.

"I really need to work on this," he mumbles to himself. The butler ignoring it. The stack crash down on the table "Loud" he yawns pulling the first pieces down, glancing over it. "A threat," he sighs, "and from bandits too, what has the world come to?" he grimaced, annoyed.

"This group should be fairly organized to send such a threat," he reads over it, the petite threat simply informing him to ready a donation.

"You think I don't have an army? " He glares at the paper. "Too bad, really." he jots down an x on it.

Placing it in a 3rd pile. Pulling another sheet down, "again it's a threat" he sighs, not even reading it.

He jots down an x on it, placing it in the pile, the butler merely watching, "get me a cup of tea."

He nods, leaving the room. Akiyama pulls another sheet down. "a concern with a lack of military".

Likewise, he sighs, "So mainly threats and a concern with the low military presence." The butler returns with the tea.

Setting it down gently with the coaster, Akiyama stares at it. Picking it up, he sips on it. Before setting it down, the butler bowing "If I may my lord" Akiyama nods "it's not to your liking."

Akiyama shakes his head, "No, it's fine, I just don't really focus on taste." he looks at the sheet again.

"Go get me a pair of glasses. This is straining my eyes. " He nods, leaving moments later. A gentle knock impacts the door, echoing quietly to Akiyama with a slightly raised voice, "Come in".

Augustine enters the room, glancing at Akiyama. "Go ahead," he nods. "We lack military might. As of now, the tanks may provide our only major strength."

He nods. "I am aware of this. Have there been any rising commoners ready to take the rank of nobility?" He shakes his head, "there are a few people rising close to it" Akiyama nods, the butler returning.

Walking beside Akiyama, he passes the glasses to him, clasping them. He opens the limbs, putting them on. He glances back at the paper well, listening to Augustine sipping the tea. "Augustine".

He silences himself. "I grant you full permission to place more focus on our military. The tanks are a trump card."

"Only the upper brass of the military should know about them, especially you Major General Augustine"

He nods, feeling the authority granted to summon the native people having access to many more troop types. Sipping the tea again, he set it down after Augustine leaves, "What is your name, Head butler".

Just realizing he never asks, the butler bows. "Regan Marshall," he politely replies. To Akiyama. The man nodding.

"I grant you the title of Baron and a small plot of land on the outer regions of the Inner city"

He nods, "it is for future political reasons. " lifting the tea, he sips it again. Pulling another sheet down.

He reads over it before marking it with his initials. "Oh, my sister's already hosting a party and to invite me really she's something."

Hours pass by, the sun setting on the horizon, Akiyama finishing the last pieces of paperwork.

"I will retire to my room now. " He stands up, takes the glasses off, he sets them down.

Walking out of the study, the butler nods before taking his leave as well. Opening the door, he shuts it behind him.

Glancing at Lythinma reading a book, her nightgown draping down, she glances at him. "oh hello Dear"

He smiles at the intricate pattern of dark crimson flowers running up her entire gown. Walking towards her, he sits down, wrapping his arms around her.

"Tired. " She smiles. Changing position, she places his head on her thighs, running her hand through his hair.

"So what happened this time? " He sighs "threats, lots of annoying threats." he yawns.

Shutting his arms, "it seems large groups of bandits seem to be acting up, having quite a lot of guts."

She snickers, "obviously they would. You haven't shown your power in Canada or whatever they called it. "

"Canada it's just Canada. I don't care who the last country was, this is just Canada to me." Nodding in her lap, she lowers her head, peaking him on the lips. Sitting up, he lays in the bed.

Lythinma crawling in after him, rolling over. He wraps his arms around her, closing his eyes, his mind dims, blacking out. The light shines through the drawn curtains.

Wincing his eyes awake, he yawns, glancing at Lythinma before sitting on the edge of the bed.

Letting the blood finish its circulation, he stands up, drawing new clothes to replace his night wear.

He gets dressed finishing he walks out of the room "Regan" the butler appears "yes lord". Akiyama nods, "have you hired any of the maids Lythinma looked into"

Regen flips out the glasses, placing them on the bridge of his nose. He pulls out a notepad. "Indeed, I have recruited 6 of them".

He nods again. "they're going through training, I take it. " He shakes his head. "3 of them are well, the other 3 are still driving."

"She selected them from a wide range of people in different place." Nodding again, Akiyama turns, walking down the hallway before using the talisman.

Teleporting to his study, he glances at a fairly small amount of paperwork. Regen moving and doing his own things around the building.

Pulling them down, he glances over them, "ho he noticed my interest in who becomes a noble and organized the papers accordingly."

He looks through them. "most are Merchants who've been around for a while. " He looks through the rest of them.

"Interesting. A decent number of people used some souls to buy noble titles. I'll be it small 1s but still noble titles"

"That is quite a small amount. I suppose I'll give out more after beating down those arrogant bandits"
