"You can't attack me like that, I'm defenceless!" Samson cried out in fear. He swallowed hard in fear seeing a scary Liam and started to shift backwards in fear grateful for the iron door that demarcated him from Liam that was outside. Hopefully, Liam couldn't reach him in his scary state that moment since the door was obviously locked.
Liam growled again at him, he was too angry to think, too angry to hear whatever Samson had said in his defence. All that kept rebounding in his head was the insult and mockery Samson threw at him and he wasn't going to let it go without a pound of his own flesh.
In a swift second, Liam tore down the iron door and flung it away like it weighed nothing.
Samson's mouth went wide open in shock. He again started to shift backwards, he has never been that scared in his entire life. Liam just tore an iron door away like it weighed lighter than air!
He knew he was in danger. He thought of shifting shape to defend himself the best he could from Liam but remembered he was chained.
He watched horrified as Liam approached him menacingly, he felt so hopeless and just for a little bit for the first time he regretted his actions that brought him to Liam's pack.
"Please…" he pleaded fearfully but he was a bit late as Liam pounced on him and scratched his face with his claws. Blood oozed out at once as Samson cried out in pain. Liam didn't stop, he growled again, he held at Samson's neck tight like he would choke him to death lifting him up a bit from the ground.
"Please...uh...uh…"Samson struggled to speak, coughing out blood. The hold that Liam had on his neck was too strong. Samson felt life seeping out of him, his eyes becoming blurry and his weakness getting weaker.
Liam's eyes burned. His anger was beyond stopping, he couldn't be controlled at that moment as his anger had hit its peak. It was only a matter of time before he strangled life out of Samson but he couldn't even notice it because his fury had clouded both his mind and sense of reasoning.
"Liam! Stop!" Liam's mum shouted just outside the prison. She had a horrified look on his face. She saw Liam in his beast mood and knew if she hadn't arrived, Liam would have killed Samson which would only add to the problem at hand.
Liam got back himself and dropped Samson down. Samson landed on the floor with a thud. Both he and Liam were breathing fast, him from not getting air to his organs for a while while Liam was trying to catch his breath from losing his temper.
Liam glared at Samson who lay almost motionless on the ground before he walked away from the prison. His mother followed him immediately.
"Liam, what is wrong with you? You could ruin things with your anger!" She yelled at him as Liam entered his room.
Liam ignored his mother and pulled his shirt ready to enter the washroom. He needed to calm his head.
"Liam you of all people know how escalated things would be if that man gets killed in our custody and…"
"Mother! Stop. I want to be left alone please," Liam told his mother and got into the washroom.
His mother swallowed the rest of the words she had in her mouth before walking out of his room promising to speak to him once his head calmed down.
She was worried about many things already and now another one just got added to many of her worries.
Liam was becoming scarier these days and it was giving her a cause to worry. He could ruin a lot of things with his anger and his anger was one terrible thing about him. She wondered if he wasn't more worried about the impending war like she is that all he cared about was to fight a prisoner. Sometimes she couldn't help but wonder how he can't seem to put his anger under control knowing fully well he was the Alpha and many things could go wrong if he continued to let his anger get a better part of him.
She felt like talking to the goddess about the whole thing as she was getting more scared as the day went by.
AT NOAH'S PACK
A mean looking man was sitting on a chair in a wide room. There were thick lines on his face that would make one not waste a single time before labelling him as wicked.
That is Alpha Noah, the meanest Alpha and scariest Alpha known to many packs. His only accepted way of handling issues and disputes with other packs is war and has been to never withdraw from a war nor show mercy. He has the strongest warriors in the neighboring packs and never wasted time calling for war.
Alpha Noah sat on his Alpha chair, he had a chewing stick in his mouth. A habit he was known for; always picking his teeth even in the oddest situation.
The messengers from Liam's pack just left his chambers and he felt satisfied with how he handled things. He was sure his message would be sent across to their Alpha. He has accepted to go to war and won't change his mind even if he begged.
Now, he really is going to show him who truly owns the land.
He laughed hysterically momentarily, taking out his stick from his mouth.
"Are the warriors training well?" He asked one of his guards.
"Yes, my Alpha."
He nodded his head approvingly and placed back the stick in his mouth and started chewing again. He was very sure of himself and his warriors. He believes Alpha Liam and his warriors are too weak to come against him. He inwardly mocked them, they would be begging for mercy by the time his warriors dealt with them. Their entire pack would be wiped out before they realized their foolishness.
"Liam," he said out loud with a smug one his face.
"I can't wait to put you in your place, hahaha" he laughed hysterically as he imagined Liam on his feet begging for mercy.
After a while, he stood up from his seat slowly making a mental note to go check out his warriors.
