Chapter 63

At the half court center, the referee threw up the game ball for the centers of the both team to get their hands on it.

Inosuke and Papa jumped up towards the ball that was in the air.

Papa's jumped was perfect making him gets the ball first before Inosuke. Papa smirk when he got the ball and all of his teammates immediately run towards their opponent's ring.

All of them was in their proper position. Papa rushed towards center where Inosuke is. Inosuke open his arms wide to cut off Papa's path.

"You can't stop me" Papa said.

"I can definitely beat you up" Inosuke said.

Papa then dribble the ball and run down the side and jumped.

"I won't let you!" Inosuke also jumped in the air but due to height of Papa. Inosuke didn't got to touched the ball making it go down to the basket.

Inosuke got down in the floor while Papa was looking down on him with a smirk and walk away.

"That bastard!" Inosuke gnashed his teeth with anger. He saw that look of Papa looking at him as if he was a trash.

"Inosuke! Calm down! Its only been a few seconds since the match start don't you dare start a fight!" Tanjiro walk towards the sitting Inosuke and help him stand up.

"I know! I'll definitely make him regret looking down on me!" Inosuke said.

"Let's go! We can do it!" Giyuu said.

The ball was now in Yasaka high's hand and currently in the hand of Tanjiro Kamado.

Tanjiro walk slowly towards the other court and he finally cross in the half court line and a few steps inside of Shinkyo's court was met by Player 5 as his defender.

Tanjiro look at his court vision and formulated a pass route for the ball.

Tanjiro didn't stick much towards Player 5 and charge towards the basket but when he got inside the three point arc he suddenly stop and did a fake pass towards the right.

Player 5 saw that Tanjiro charged and follow him but he also stop when he saw that Tanjiro stopped but he wasn't expecting that fake pass and move to right.

Everyone including the audience was surprise from what he did. It was perfectly executed move by tanjiro.

Tanjiro didn't let go of that chance and shot the ball towards the basket.

But suddenly Papa who saw what happened immediately come to Tanjiro and jump for the block.

He jumped for the block and for Tanjiro, he appeared out of knowhere.

"What?! Where did he come from?!" Tanjiro said.

"I won't let you!" Papa said.

The ball bounce off in the ground and was catch by Player 5. All of them run towards the other side of the court.

Player 5 passed the ball towards Papa. Because the pathway was clear Papa then dunked in the basket with two hands.

"I told you to surrender HAHAHHA" The Opponent's captain laughed and walk away.

Giyuu only stared at him with cold eyes and didn't say anything.

Game goes on with Shinkyo Academy on the lead.

"Why did you even bother to come here? Go on just go on flirt with your girls!" Shinobu said with an angry face. In front of her was Shun who just arrive. He was already full of sweat.

"What? Are you jealous?" Shun curiously asked.

"Hah? Me? Jealous? Of you?"

"For your information I don't have any interest a playboy like you!" Shinobu replied.

"I'm not a playboy, A playboy is someone who left girls after using them or someone who play girl's heart." Shun defended himself.

"Isn't that what your doing? Playing those innocent girl's heart!" Shinobu said.

"I ain't playing with their heart! Never mind that tell me what's the situation" Shun divert the topic.

"As you can see we are 13 points behind them the situation is really bad if this keep going we will definitely lose" Shinobu said seriously.

Shun look towards where the scores are and saw that the score is.

"Well that is definitely a very bad situation" Shun said.

"Since you're here then you're the only one who turn the tables now" Shinobu said. She believe in Shun's talent that he can make the game in their favor.

"You will go in after first quarter just go start doing warm up for now" Shinobu said.

"Can't you see that I'm already full sweat running all the way from school to here?" Shun said.

"Huh, Like I would be believe you! No one is stupid enough to run a few kilometers and after that play a basketball game" Shinobu said.

Shun didn't say anything and just sit in the bench and wait for the first quarter to end. After a minute of waiting the first quarter finally ends with the score of 34 for Shinkyo and 23 for the Yasaka.

"Tch, I'll definitely won't let him tricked me this time" Inosuke frustratingly said.

"Shun! You're finally here! HAHAHA we will definitely win now!" Zenitsu said as he tried to hug Shun but Shun didn't let him do so.

"Where have you been man?!" Tanjiro tiredly asked.

"I was busy I forgot!" Shun said.

"Its good now that you're here! It was disappointing to know that we can't win with just us we also need you" Giyuu said. He was greatly disappointed that they can't win with just their selves but as long as they win they can still improve next match.

"Yes! I won't definitely dissapoint you captain!" Shun said.

Then they all started their plans for the second quarter of the match.

The referee then pass the ball to Tanjiro and Tanjiro passed towards Shun.

Shun was wearing their school jersey that is color red and on his back the number is written there is 23. Shun waited for the others to go on their own position before walking. He finally passed the half court line.

The defender who goes for the name Player 3 was expecting that this guy in front of him will charge but he was surprised from what the guy in front of him did.

Shun takes a stance that he saw from a video and throw the ball high up in the air. Shun then turned around and started walking.

His teammates also did the same they also started walking towards the opposite court without even looking at the ball. They all believe in Shun and they already saw many impossible things that he did.

"We look cool!" Zenitsu said with a brimming smile.

"Yea! We definitely look now!" Tanjiro said.

"Hey Shun! Let's do something like this in every match! I will probably get a girlfriend if we do this often!" Zenitsu said.

Shun chuckles a bit and said "Sure! Why not?"

"That is one hell of a shot to start the second quarter" Giyuu said with a slight smile in his face.

The ball was perfectly got in the basket without even touching the rim.

Girls, Boys, Dogs, Cats, Mouse, Pigs shouted with excitement. They saw what Shun did and that awesome move that he did and his confidence making all them riled up.
