Aria's Point Of View,

I observed that Mary was so scared of mom, she was so scared to even look at her face, she was hiding behind my back and I just caressed her hair slowly, I just loved the way dad tried to fight back for the first time in his life for someone else at least.

"How dare you threaten me like this, I am your wife and I have all the rights on this home too, you can not send me from this house no matter what", mom yelled back at dad and I was just kept looking at them, I want to see how long dad could fight for this.

"Try me, honey, I can do what I should have done a long ago, I can even give you a divorce if you want", dad said and I saw how all the colours of mom's face vanished in the air, she was looking so pale at this moments and a big smile came on my face to see her like that.

"How can you say that to me, I am your wife", she was now acting like she was crying but we all could see and tell that she was not crying at all, she was just acting and no one buy it.

"I can say this honey, all these years you made me like this and now I can do anything I want, so if you want to stay in this house and my life, you better behave or else you know very well what I am capable of", dad gave a warning to her.

"And Aria, I am giving you the responsibility of Mary from now you will take care of her", dad said and I just smiled at him, I was happy indeed.

"Sure dad, I am so happy that you finally made the right decision, and also I wanted to tell you that Mary is like my sister now, so she will share my room, and I am taking her to my college, she will study with me, I hope you will not mind it dad", I said and he just came close to me and Mary and caressed her hair, she was looking like a scared kitten.

"Do not worry dear, I am so happy that you chose to support her, you did not treat her like your mom did and I am so glad that I forcefully send you away from your mom, so now you are nothing like her and I am so glad about it", dad said to me and kissed my head and I noticed how mom was glaring at him like she will eat him alive.

"How could you say this honey, she is my daughter too", mom yelled as maybe she was crying for real now, but I do not care about her crying, what she did with Mary is something I can not forget.

"Yes, she is but you lost all the rights on her, and from now you better keep that warning in your mind, do not you dare to hurt Mary again", dad warned her and passed us a smile and left from there, grandma did not say anything but by seeing her face I could say how happy she is with dad, she also passed me a big smile and caressed Mary's head.

"I should have sent you a long time ago", Grandma cursed mom and left her and went to her mom.

"Mom, I feel pity for you, I hope that you could actually act like a real mom, instead of doing what you are doing, please do not be like this, it hurts to see you like this", I said and held Mary's hand and we headed back into my room, I made her drink some water and she sat on the bed, I am glad that she is not crying anymore.

"Thank you so much Aria, I just do not know what I will do without you, you are like a blessing for me, and I will call you my angel, coz you came into my life like an angel and changed it, so I am so happy now, and I saw that your mom was looking so hurt, you should talk to her nicely", she said and I just laughed hard.

"Aria, you do not have to worry about her, she was always like that, she has everything, but she is still so selfish and I do not like her behaviour, she ruined my past and I do not know I would be ever able to forgive her anytime soon, so let us not talk about her", I said to her and she did not say anything to me after that, but I know she wanted to ask a lot of questions, maybe I could tell her but not now, maybe when I will feel better.

"Amm so now tell me do you know how to use a laptop", I asked her and she slowly nodded her head.

"Cool then, you have to submit a form for your college, and I will go for the job", I said to her and she looked at me with confused eyes.

"What job", she asked me.

"Did you forget so easily, did not you say that you have a job, I told you I will help, so I am going on your behalf today, all I need is a mask".
