Prologue

Adam and Eve.

Alpha and Omega.

The symbols and origins of the first and secondary gender. Since the beginning of time Alphas were thought of as masculine and strong, but what if the "submissive" omega was stronger from the beginning? Not in the terms of braun, but in the terms of brains. That is how it has always been in reality, their skills in leadership; superior, their intellect; superior, overall; superior.

So what happened to the alpha you ask?

Well, the alphas… were just… there. Being there doing the absolute minimum, but developed the need to be with these cool and beautiful beings called omegas. In turn, being simpleminded and sweet Omegas returned these feelings.

Due to the adoration of each other the alphas had toward omegas they reproduced with one another, even though Omegas carried children. Still, omegas took charge in leading and being the head. It was only logical for the omega to conceive, they were superior in every way.

As history unfolded, while Alphas stayed the same under the protection of the "lesser" gender, because of this omegas went through evolution becoming even greater through the traits of even greater intellect and strength. Even though the Alphas stayed the same, silly and a little airheaded, they still loved them because they were well… Alphas you could say.

Eventually, after just having Alphas and Omegas another secondary gender came along; Betas. They were seen as "normal", smarter than the average alpha, and without the affinity to lead as well as the Omegas or conceive as they do. Therefore Betas came into the picture, then overtaking the population making Omegas and Alphas rare and elite.

In the present New York, much is still the same, but Ja Kang-Dae the Omega leader of the Ja clan and syndicate insists on negating the duty of mating with an Alpha. Focused on the steady power of the syndicate and keeping the other families trust, so why would he need a mate if he is strong enough alone? These dumb, simpleminded Alphas wouldn't do him any good, so what was the good in having an Alpha?

Still, the elders pressure the 29 year old Kang-Dae to have the next heir and mate to secure his position in the syndicate as the leader and head. A steady rule is important in the clan, without it the two centuries building up the "empire" would be all for nought.

Their beloved Ja clan's power over the entirety of the East Coast and bigger would dwindle. The power to slowly gain control over even the president of the country, hell the authority the Ja Mafia has over the world would dwindle.

By raising and supporting a singular clan in the span of a decade the Villa Clan rose up the ranks to one of the four influential families, in short: the power they have is incredible with influences all over the globe ranging from The United States to Japan.

The Ja clan with roots in both Korea and Latin America, the Aki Clan with roots in Japan, the Amos with roots in Italy, and the Villa Clan with roots in Spain. These four main families have power over not only the country, but most of the world through their business dealings and interraicial marriages only for outsiders to gain what little power they can get their hands on with the association to the syndicate.

So what happens when the Omega in charge of this entire empire-like syndicate is on the path to marriage?

Who's the alpha destined to mate with the big boss?
