I just got whatever featured is by Web novel, and their advice if I want to grow my book is basically just top up. It makes sense they would promote more based on getting payed like game developers, but I imagine they make more money from hopeful authors than people who just but coins. I was wondering how they made money from the small percent of people who buy coi s and gifts, compared to hiring so many translators even if they are slowing switching to using AI to translate. Don't expect anyone to be bored enough to read this, but if they "feature" me a couple more times then maybe. Generally speaking though AI seems to decide how they promote books, so if it looks like featuring me did nothing I doubt they will do it again.
