Other Side of Bara

Bara sat in silence, he watched Jasmine who was watching Antariksa training with a big smile. He was relieved, at least Jasmine could smile now.

For some reason, seeing the girl gloomy made Bara's heartthrob in pain.

He didn't bother to think about what feelings he had for her. If seeing Jasmine smile can make him happy, then he will do whatever it takes to make Jasmine smile. It's that simple.

"Gosh, Adam can be so handsome, what did his mother crave?" mumbled Jasmine who was still reluctant to take her eyes off the Antariksa.

Bara who heard Jasmine's murmur immediately laughed wryly. He thought Jasmine must have an abnormality with her eyes. When a man more handsome was right beside her, why would she prefer to observe other men's faces?

"Wow, Bro! It's been a long time since you came down! Come on, show them some moves!" Putu shouted which was immediately responded to by shouts by the members of the Antariksa. Jasmine gaped and immediately turned to Bara.

"You can dance like that?" Jasmine asked in disbelief.

Bara immediately took a deep breath.

"I can! Want to see?"

Jasmine nodded quickly towards Bara. She looks so adorable, so how could Bara possibly refuse her?

Bara stood up and approached Putu.

"Come on, battle!" said Bara who was immediately greeted with boisterous applause from the members of the Antariksa and the team dancers who were there.

Jasmine immediately clapped her hands with so much enthusiasm. She was curious how a rude and careless man like Bara could dance like Antariksa. Em, Hip hop dance? Whatever it is.

As soon as the music was turned on, Putu immediately moved his body according to the beat in the music. Jasmine smiled widely because she was amazed by Putu's ability. No wonder, he is an Antariksa trainer. Cool.

Putu gave a code to Bara to continue the dance. And, as soon as Bara moved his body...

Jasmine immediately gaped in disbelief, her eyes refused to blink and her body froze for a moment.

Is it true that the man there is the Bara she knows?

Bara moves so light and fast, he looks so relaxed yet so powerful. Jasmine really couldn't believe her eyes.

During the battle dance, Jasmine was silent in amazement. Oh shit, she seemed hypnotized by Bara's body movements.

Jasmine hastily shook her head and tried to act normal when the battle dance was joined by other dancers.

Bara approached Jasmine and sat beside Jasmine.

"How? Isn't that cool?" Bara asked after gently elbowing Jasmine's arm.

"That was, amazing! Cool!" Jasmine can't lie. She looked at him with an unusual look.

"What do you know about dancing? It was stiff because I rarely move! Lying down is more tempting because!" said Bara casually.

It's up to Bara to think of him as what, in Jasmine's eyes, he is very cool.

After the exercise was over, Jasmine asked Bara to take her photo with the members of Antariksa. Jasmine stood beside Adam.

Bara smiled wryly, but in the end, he still took some photos for Jasmine.

After they were in the car, Bara immediately drove the car out of the parking lot. Turns out it was raining so hard outside.

"Cold, it's good to drink anyway!" Bara muttered with a look that couldn't be separated from the road in front of him.

"Come on, I'm thirsty too!"

"You know what I mean is not drinking water, right?" Bara asked without looking at Jasmine.

"I know! And I want to try it! You know what, it turns out that there is a non-alcoholic type of wine! I want to try that! It won't make me drunk, will it?"

Bara nodded slowly. He knows several brands of wine from Arabia that are halal and safe for women to drink. Bara knew where to take Jasmine.

Throughout the journey, Jasmine was silent and stared out the window. Now and then the girl scowled, took a deep breath, and closed her eyes. Looks like she needs a glass of wine.

***

Jasmine smiled faintly. Now they are in one of Bara's friend's minibars. This place isn't open yet, but Bara is a guy who can do whatever he wants. The staff there opened the place specifically for Bara. Even a bartender came early to serve them.

"Can I drink this?" Jasmine asked while touching the rim of the glass in front of her.

"Yes! This wine comes from Spain and is halal-certified! Non-alcoholic! Don't worry, I'm not an asshole who will make fun of you!" Bara glanced at Jasmine with a faint smile.

"Yes, I believe, I drink!"

Jasmine immediately took a sip of wine in the glass she was holding.

Her brow furrowed, she immediately glanced at Bara and gave the man a strange look.

"How?" Bara asked, holding back a smile.

Jasmine shook her head slowly, then she took another sip of her wine.

Bara chuckled softly at Jasmine's behavior.

"I like!" only those words that came out of Jasmine's mouth.

"Jasmine," Bara called.

"Yes?"

"Could you tell me what you're thinking? I'm quite frustrated seeing you as a zombie lately! Just tell me what you think or feel!"

Jasmine smiled a very wide smile. A smile that can always warm Bara's heart.

"You won't listen! I guarantee you that. You won't like my story." said Jasmine casually.

"Just try it. Say what you think, what happened, and how you feel. I'll shut my mouth and be a good listener!"

"Want a promise?"

"What?"

"Promise me to stay still and just listen," said Jasmine so boldly.

"I promise," said Bara without thinking.

Jasmine smiled again. She looked away at the rows of wine bottles behind the bartender and took a deep breath.

"After this contract expires, I intend to leave this country with my grandparents. Live in a country with a low cost of living and start a new life. However, your kind attitude towards me makes me waver, I'm starting to think it's okay if I like one of them. you guys. Do you know? I liked Sam from the start. I just realized it recently. Sam is very kind and respects me as a woman even though I'm just a maid of the quotes. He never looks at me like a lowly woman. He respects me as a woman. I like the way he treats me."

Jasmine stopped talking and took another deep breath.

"I'm starting to forget my position. You guys are masters who spoil their maid too much!" Jasmine chuckled softly after saying that.

"Seriously, you cheer me up, take me out for a drink, hey, that's not something a master usually does to his maid!"

Jasmine laughed crisply.

"I started to get big and thought, maybe you guys will accept me as a woman and not a maid.

Until finally, when we went to Lombok, Sam made a promise that destroyed all the hopes and dreams of this village girl. He said he would marry a girl another right in front of me!"

Jasmine took another sip of her wine.

"I'm devastated. It's as if I'm being forced to see where I am again. Who am I and who is he. Even though Sam is being very nice and sweet, I'm not that important enough to him, because he easily does that when I'm with him." Jasmine glanced at Bara and smiled broadly. A smile that was too forced.

He gripped the glass tightly in his hand. He looked at Jasmine with a meaningful look.

"In short, I'm heartbroken. So, I thought, let's just go back to the original plan. Finish this contract and leave immediately. I'm going to a place where no one knows me. I want to be reborn as a good Jasmine. "

Jasmine finished the wine in her glass.

Then the bartender came and poured the wine back into her glass.

Jasmine smiled sadly.

Hearing the fact that Jasmine likes Sam, has hurt him so much, especially hearing that she wants to leave Bara.

He admits he misjudged Jasmine. The girl is no longer a prostitute in Bara's eyes. Bara respects the girl as a woman. He wanted to glorify Jasmine, adore her if only she knew that Bara never played with his words.

'Why don't you just like me? Why? Why do you have to like Sam? Look at me, and I'll show you that I'll do anything to make you happy!'

"Wow. Are you quiet? You can talk now. I'm done!" said Jasmine slowly.

There were so many things Bara wanted to say to the girl, but nothing could come out of her mouth.

I don't know why his tongue feels numb.

"Ra,"

"Bara!"

"Hey!"

Jasmine shook Bara's arm.

"Jasmine,"

"Finally you speak too!"

"I can talk to dad to cancel the contract if you're willing to stay!"

"What?"
