- The Worst Day Of His Life

In a foster home, Alex Watts was doing work or just too busy to do anything because he was the oldest. Where Alex was currently was in his room, studying to his hearts content before the eventual end of summer in days time. Alex was working until he heard a knock on his room door. "Alex! Come out! Let's play tag!" The young voice said. "I can't! I have to study!" Alex said. Just a few seconds after responding, sounds were heard from the door. Like metal clanking. Eventually the door opened, showing a little boy with pieces of metal in his hands. "Jesus Ceelo! You need to stop doing that!" Alex said while getting off his chair.

"I'll play later!" Alex said while closing and locking the door. He heard more metal clanking and barricaded the doors. Soon after he heard grunts and the little Ceelo had stomped downstairs. "I'm sorry for the little guy but I need the studying! I'll just take him to that ice cream place he likes after this" Alex thought to himself. He sat back down if his chair and continued his studies. A few hours passed and he was finished. "Alright. Just need to grab some money and go get Ceelo" Alex thought as he got up, stretched, and got money from his drawer. He went to the door, removed the barricades, and aimed his hand to grab the doorknob but before he could it opened, the caretaker of the place entered his room.

"Alex, I need you to stop by to the store. We need some things. Here's 60 dollars to pick it up" The caretaker asked, in a sort of tone meaning he had no choice but to accept, while holding the money. "I was actually going to take Ceelo out. Could I do this later?" Alex asked but immediately got his answer from the energy she was sending at him. "Okay. I'll do it" Alex said while getting the money. "And Jack and Kyle are coming with you." The caretaker said. "I can't even complain to her right now" Alex thought while going down the stairs to see Jack and Kyle at the front door. "Finally! We've been waiting for hours!" Jack overexaggerated. "It's been three minutes. Just three. Anyhow… Watts, you ready?" Kyle.

Alex nodded and opened the door. The door opened to a street busier than 10 New Yorks combined. The boys got onto the streets and walked to the store, taking what could be estimated to about 10 minutes or so. "I heard you whacked Harry on the head after kicking him out of your room." Jack said. "You mean Ceelo? He kept interrupting me while I studied so I locked and barricaded my door" Alex said. "Against a Kid?" Kyle said, gaining a look of annoyance. "We have whole ACT test soon. This needs everything I can pour into it." Alex defended. The whole trip became quiet after those few sentences. They stayed quiet until they reached the store… Great Value.

They spend not too much time in going inside. "Alright guys all we need is eggs, milk, food in general, and diapers" Kyle directed while looking at a list he pulled out from his pocket. The group spread out while buying things. Alex, at the age of 19, took milk, eggs, and canned foods. Kyle, at the age of 17 took bread, cereal, meat, fruits, Ect.. Jack who was 15 got chips, candy, ice cream, and junk food. They all met back up and argued. "Why would you buy just junk food?! Who does that?!" Alex yelled just loud enough not for anyone to hear him and not make a scene. "Says the man who locked and barricades his room door!" Jack replied with Alex's same tone. They were just going in stalemate. "Stop! Both of you are at fault! I'm the only one who brought real food!" Kyle said. "Shut up Kyle!" Alex and Jack yelled. They kept doing this until it became a scene.

They eventually settled with everyone buying their stuff. They made it out to 20 extra dollars. The boys made it out of the Great Value with their sanity still intact. "Hey, I'm sorry about what happened in there" Everyone said. "It's alright. Great Value changes people." Alex said. Everyone nodded and agreed with Alex. They left with the 20 dollars and were headed to go back home but… "Hey, let's go downtown for a bit" Jack asked. "Yeah, we could use the rest of the 20!" Kyle added. "I don't know. It seems unnecessary and it's getting late" Alex said while scratching his head. "Just for a little" Kyle begged while Alex sighed. "Fine. Only for ten minutes. It's already 9:30pm" Alex concluded. The two boys cheered and ran to the area of where downtown was while Alex sighed and walked.

They ended up going to a deli, then to arcades, then close to a movie theatre, and back to the deli with no money. "Time to go guys!" Alex said "It's 12:00am!" The boys groaned from all of Alex's words, not even uttering anything but groans. "Jesus I knew we should have gone home" Alex thought as he ended up dragging them until they finally got up and walked with him. They walk was quiet and no one was near them except for constant traffic and yelling from traffic, but they tuned it out so it was quiet for them. While walking home, they made it to a place with no traffic. A rare sight for them. The scenery was beautiful. If anyone was to look they'd stay for hours.

"You guys look drunk. You're telling the caretaker what you were doing when we get back-" Alex stopped abruptly as he saw a man in a white fedora and suitcase. Right at the turn to where their home should be. The boys made it to the turn and they were met with arson. The hundreds of wooden planks that held their home together were all set alight with flame. The windows had all broken and emitted smoke from them all. Finally, the screams of dozens of orphans, crying and screaming in agony. Each of the boys had a look of fear, pain, and sadness, snapping Jack and Kyle back into reality. They ran towards the house but then

BANG!

Jack fell down to the ground, holding his chest in pain with starting to cry.

BANG!

Kyle had fallen over Jack, the drop of pressure was enough to kill the two boys. Alex turned around and saw the man in the white fedora holding a revolver. He was so fear ridden and had so much hatred and all he wanted to do was direct it to this one man. Alex ran at the man at his top speed like his life depended upon this matter.

BANG!

Alex was shot in his shoulder but continued to run at the man.

BANG!

He was shot in the shoulder again but continued the move. He was only 3 feet away.

BANG!

This was in his chest. He was blasted back and he knew he was to die but continued the move. He made it close enough to punch the man in the face but he treated it as nothing. As if Alex himself was nothing. Alex knew the man was going to kill him and fell onto the ground with a thud, and with that happening had his hand gripped onto his suitcase. If Alex had to die, he was at least going to inconvenience him.

The man grabbed Alex's head and crushed his brain in with his bare strength, opening the suitcase while Alex held it before he died. A white light splashed onto his dead body as limp as it was. The man just made sounds of annoyance and shot his last bullet at Alex's dead body in rage. He also started to be happy as he held the suitcase over Alex.

What Alex felt was horrible. He felt he was going to the great void of souls. He felt like this was his end. "I can't be dead… Right?" Alex thought. As soon as he did, a bright light came into view. He saw white text and a voice. The light felt like he was alive again.

"No!" Alex thought. He swam in the void he was in to the light and tried to grab onto it desperately.

Alex was stabbed but he regenerated and his eyes became bloodshot. Alex's blood literarily boiled to the point his blood curdled and went to black chunks but he regenerated blood, making the new color close to black and the made the blood chunky and thicker. He was drowned but lived as his skin became bloated and pale. "I refuse to die!" Alex thought, pushing thought the agony.

Alex couldn't take more pain after this. He had to let out a scream just to let it out. And soon after he felt like he was going to lose his grip. In a last resort he bit the light to hang on.

The light finally stopped going away and Alex was no longer in constant pain. It still felt like agony for him. The light enveloped the void and the text in front of him had turned golden. Alex immediately passed out but before he did he heard a glitchy voice and text
