Chapter 78

His piercing black eyes held me like a captive in a cage. His slow stride fastening my already high rated heart beat. Now, he was too close. Too close that one step, and he would evade my personal bubble. The ireful look never left his facet when he leaned closer at my face level with his one hand on either side of my head. The close proximity just dropped my already rated heart beat to a null point. Soon the atmosphere filled with what smelled like after shave and his cologne. His body radiated warm heat against mine and my hand which was on my side, automatically landed on his broad warm chest to push him back. He eyed my hand for two seconds but his gaze continued to captivate mine. Again . 

"You're nervous?" He didn't ask it as a question, but condemned it like a damned truth.
