Second Fail

Rudsis threw a punch, which Krenen deflected with one hand by giving a slightly rotating step forward, and using that same hand to hit Rudsis in the face with the back of the wrist, hand bent down. The strike sent Rudsis staggering backwards, and the sound of it was blunt and loud.

After shaking his head, Rudsis came back in, punching with the other hand. Giving a step to the side, Krenen deflected with a sweeping motion of the hand, and counterattacked by elbowing Rudsis in the face, whose head snapped back. Fighting through the pain, Rudsis threw a hook, which took Krenen by surprise, and sent him rolling across the forest floor. There was a tree on his way, but he used it to stop his motion by planting both of his feet on the trunk. The poor pine was pushed askew, and Krenen incorporated himself immediately, knowing his foe would press the attack.
