Arystan Nikolaev never entertained the idea of hiring a woman to be his manager. He knows the complications that comes with it. But his bestfriend and former manager Senti, talked him into it. Senti strongly believes that the woman is the perfect person for the job he is leaving. He relented.

He however, thought it best to keep his distance and to only focus on their work relationship. But there's something about the woman that draws him in. He wonder if it's because of her pleasing looks or the mystery and danger that surrounds her. 

She has dangerous secrets and her very life is at stake. But he doesn't want to turn away. He wanted to protect her and unmasked the identity she wanted to keep hidden from him. Only by then can he help her and keep her by his side.

"Arystan you need to wake up now."

I'm being shaken and I slowly opened my eyes to Jade standing over me.

"It's already 8 in the morning. We need to eat before going."

I nodded and took the blanket off of me. I looked for my slippers and headed to the bathroom, feeling dizzy.

We went down to the hotel restaurant after 30 minutes. I ordered a variety of dim sum to go with my green tea while Jade ordered wonton soup with spring rolls, and of course tea.

At 9:30 am we were on a taxi, on our way to the boutique. I can't help but compare her again to Senti. Usually at this time we will still be hustling to eat breakfast or worse, we only just woke up. What a change!

At 9:40 we were already in the boutique. We were 20 minutes early.

She is on the phone, talking to someone in English. I realized after a minute that she is talking to Fen, telling her to come now.
