Arystan Nikolaev never entertained the idea of hiring a woman to be his manager. He knows the complications that comes with it. But his bestfriend and former manager Senti, talked him into it. Senti strongly believes that the woman is the perfect person for the job he is leaving. He relented.

He however, thought it best to keep his distance and to only focus on their work relationship. But there's something about the woman that draws him in. He wonder if it's because of her pleasing looks or the mystery and danger that surrounds her. 

She has dangerous secrets and her very life is at stake. But he doesn't want to turn away. He wanted to protect her and unmasked the identity she wanted to keep hidden from him. Only by then can he help her and keep her by his side.

My alarm rang. I groaned as I reached out for my phone to turn it off. It had only been a few hours.

Jade texted me last night to get up at 7 so here I am. I guess we need to do the routine exercise.

In the bathroom, I splashed my face with water to wake up. I chuckled when I saw my face in the mirror. She was going on and on about me needing to be in the best condition for today. That plan failed.

I changed my clothes then went out to the living room.

"Good morning!" she greeted me brightly when she came out of her own room.

"Let's go. A good exercise will help."

"I think I need sleep more than exercise right now."

She pulled me up by arm from the sofa and led the way to the hotel gym.

Around 8am, I was back in her room for the makeup.

"Feeling better?" she asked me as she started with the moisturizer.
