Promise

Without a reasonable thought, she jumped off the bed, her muscles aching to run after him. Her legs roughly collided with the floor, imploring for her legs to stop but she was persistent.

She had to stop him.

That's all she knew.

With Alister only mere meters in front of her sight, her legs abruptly went against each one of her health's wishes as they hopelessly tried to run after him, but her injuries were too brittle.

Her scars ran too deep, carving into her bones while the burning reeling from the large profanity exposed on her calf aided the amount of agony she felt with each breath.

Her legs stood no chance.

"ALISTER-"

She called out one last time before her face slammed onto the wooden flooring, immediately releasing any sort of control that she thought she had left. She let out a slight whimper of pain as her bones were slowly crushed against the rough surface.
