The Tracking Seal

Frost knocked relentlessly and the door was about to break, forcing Arel to respond to his questions. Arel didn't want Keira to become nervous from all the loud noise, he answered frost just to let him stop knocking on the door.

"Stop knocking," he gritted his teeth, suppressing his anger, This's not the time for being furious as he wanted a peaceful condition for Keira to calm down.

"What's wrong with Keira?.. Keira, I heard you cry are you alright?" Frost stopped knocking.

Keira slowly settled down, trying to focus on what was going on, and turned to look at Arel, who was frowning his brows in concern. she then turned her gaze to the door that frost stood behind "Frost.. " she murmured in a low voice but that was enough for frost to hear that she called his name.

"Keira, how are you? are you alright? what happened? Frost's voice was anxious.

Keira slowly stood up with Arel holding her hand and went to open the door.

At the door was a tall figure, his eyes were looking at her with anxiety. Frost quickly grabbed Keira's shoulder, turning her body around to check if she was alright or hurt anywhere.

Keira was woozy so she grabbed his arms to make him stop "I'm fine frost" she paused, trying to think how will she explain the dream that she just had, But since she didn't want frost's worries to worsen, she better should not tell him anything yet.

"I'm fine it's just.. I had a bad dream but there's nothing to worry about"

frost frowned in confusion at what she said 'Can a dream make her cry like she was tortured? likes she was about to die?' he couldn't understand this.

"Are you sure you're fine?" he asked again since he couldn't feel at ease.

"yes, I'm alright frost.. I'm sorry for making you worried.." she then slowly removed his hand from her.

Arel saw that Keira's condition was not stable, carefully hold Keira back into his arms, and turned to Frost "Keira needs rest.. you should leave" he then led Keira into the room without waiting for frost's answer, It was good enough that he let him see her.

Arel put Keira on the bed, stroking her head gently to make her calm "can you tell me what happened.." he asked as he tried to make his voice sound less distressed.

Keira sighed, she should tell Arel the truth since she trusted him the most and he might know how to help her. When this's unusual that she always has the same dream with that anonymous voice who'd tortured her to death in the dream.

"Arel I.. I've had the same dream many times and the dream was always in the same location.." then she thought about that psycho voice "and there's a voice in the dream .. always the same voice talked to me"

Arel felt that this was unusual "can you explain the surrounding and what the voice has talked to you?"

Keira explained to Arel about the lifeless land, the place where she was burning alive and how the voice kept telling her to obey him.

.

After Arel heard that, he was silent and fell deep in his thought, The place that Keira told him was somewhere he knew but that place was far away from here and he couldn't figure out why Keira who's never been there could suddenly dream about it.

Then he thought about the day Keira was attacked by monsters, someone must have put a tracking seal on her body, but because he couldn't smell any abnormal on her it could mean that the person who put the seal on Keira had to be the same level as him Which made him grit his teeth in angry when he realized who could be the person behind this.

"Arel.. is there something strange?" Keira asked carefully since Arel's expression caused her to anxious, something must definitely abnormal

Arel held her hand firmly to comfort her as he was thinking about how to answer without causing Keira to feel worse "It's ..a side effect from the day you were attacked by monsters" he paused "Don't worry.. I'll make a potion to make you getting better.." he smiled faintly. In fact, removing the seal was not easy but suppressing the power of the seal was possible to do.

Even though Arel'd told her to not worry but Keira couldn't be at ease, what Arel just said about the monster might be right because she started dreaming that night when she was attacked.

She nodded as she believed that Arel could help her "I trust you Arel" she hugged him tightly and thought how good it was for her to have him as a husband.

After that, Arel started packing the stuff that was needed for returning back to the mystic forest as quickly as possible, he must make the potion there and not let any further incidents happen to Keira.

while Arel was packing, Keira went to the lobby to find Aunt Emma as she just wanted to say goodbye before leaving.

But there was no one in the lobby, so Keira walked to Aunt Emma's private room and knocked on the door "Aunt Emma are you there?"

Not long later aunt Emma came to open the door "Keira oh I was about to go to visit xander do you want to go with me?" on Emma's hands was a basket of fruits which has been prepared for her nephew.

When Keira heard that, she was considering. since she was wondering about how Xander condition but because she didn't want him to see her, It would be better if he continue to believe that she was just his imagination.

"Aunt Emma, Has Xandar gotten better ?" she asked with a somewhat worried tone.

"He's still very weak.." aunt sighed "will need sometimes until he'll recover back to his normal state" she replied then held onto Keira's hand "let's come with me, I might need your help," and brought Keira out of the inn.

"But a..aunt Emma I have to go soon"

"It's alright it won't be long," aunt Emma held Keira's hand and walked towards the chief's quarter.
