Chapter 323: The 2nd Fingerprint

"Charlotte, someone is here to see you." The police officer knocked on the interrogation room door and called out softly.

Charlotte got up from her chair and followed the officer out. The corridor was full of people, like a dark sea awaiting battle.

Through the distant glass door, she caught a glimpse of Henry Russell leaning against the doorframe, occasionally looking down at his watch.

Her heart clenched, and Charlotte felt a little tight in her chest, wanting to turn around and leave.

Unaware of her discomfort, the police officer gave her a gentle push on the shoulder: "Mr. Russell has been waiting for you for a while."

"Ah, alright." Charlotte bit her lip.

As Henry approached in the empty office, Charlotte's heart beat faster, and her palms began to sweat.

"Anything you want to explain?" Henry raised his eyebrows, staring straight at her.

Charlotte's mind went numb with anxiety, unable to sort out where to begin.
