Chapter 405: Proof

After finishing all the current tasks in the company, Henry Russell slowly rose from his office chair, nonchalantly stretching his back.

He then looked towards a particular spot, his gaze transforming instantly from icy cold to gentle and soft.

The woman lying there is the love of his life, and because of her, any sacrifices he made felt absolutely worth it, all in pursuit of her smile.

It was because of this that Henry Russell finally understood why so many lords of the past would become so extravagant.

Now, he feels extremely content with everything. He knows that as long as he can see this woman first thing in the morning, all good moods will follow.

Henry knew he had finished work for the day and should wake up the sleeping woman, but the moment he saw her peaceful, serene face, he couldn't bring himself to disturb her sleep.
