"Chen Mo, try this and see if you like it,"
Bai Lanwu didn't know how to converse with Leng Chenmo, so she could only clumsily serve him food.
In a blink of an eye, Leng Chenmo realized that his bowl was piled high with vegetables. Not wanting to refuse, he took bites of some food he usually didn't eat. Finally, he commented "It's really delicious."
Bai Lanwu's relief was evident on her face "If you find it tasty, eat more. I'm not sure about your preference. Let me know what you like, and I will cook it for you."
"OK, why don't you teach me how to cook tomorrow night?" Being unsure of how to relate with Bai Lanwu, Leng Chenmo used cooking as a common ground.
"What? Cook? Tell me what you want to eat, and I'll cook for you. Why do you need to learn?"
Leng Chenmo tilted his head, looking at Tang Zhou, who was enjoying the food. "Once I learn, I can cook for my wife. She seems to really like your cooking."
