The cold wind howled, and torrential rain poured down without showing any sign of stopping.
This is a private island, heavily guarded. Xia Miaomiao lay on the muddy grass, letting the rain wash over her soaked face, not daring to move a muscle. She had been watching for three days; the patrols changed shifts every half an hour, making escape as difficult as climbing to the heavens.
But if she didn't find a way to escape, tomorrow would be the day of final judgment, and she would be dead for sure.
Buzzzzz—
Suddenly, a huge gust of wind rose above her head.
Xia Miaomiao looked up.
Damn, a helicopter was arrogantly descending right above her!
Unfortunately, it seemed as though it was going to land right on the patch of grass where she was lying.
If she didn't dodge, and the helicopter descended on her, wouldn't she be crushed into a pulp?
Just as Xia Miaomiao was about to move, a group of bodyguards in raincoats rushed up rapidly through the torrential rain.
