A Different Kind of Warmth 4

As soon as the words left her mouth, Victoria realized something was off.

"Just go. It was just a casual question," she said.

But Arnold grinned from ear to ear, hugging her tightly in his arms as he mischievously whispered to her, "Next time we're together, we must switch off our phones."

The implications of switching off their phones were obvious.

Victoria felt a tickling sensation in her ear, overwhelmed by his warm breath.

Arnold then said once more, "The Old Lady accidentally slipped and fell. She's in the hospital. I need to check on her."

She pushed him away.

"You better hurry up."

After saying that, Victoria turned her back on him because her face was burning hot at that moment.

This was her natural instinct.

Had it not been for meeting Arnold, she wouldn't even know she had such an instinct.

Initially, when many boys pursued her, her face had never turned red.
