Trapped in a desperate situation

Mia Garcia and Clara Brown returned to the apartment in a miserable state, having endured more humiliation these few days than decades before.

"What should we do? Where should we look for your brother?" Clara Brown sobbed, collapsing on the sofa.

Mia was so tired she slumped on one side. The outcome was indeed exactly as Victoria had said- her brother owed a lot of money to the Underground Gambling House. The only difference was that someone had paid his debts for him, but her brother had disappeared without a trace.

"Mom, be rational. The question now isn't about where my brother is, but how we can survive." Mia's mood was very bad, an unprecedented crisis had befallen her.

"But your brother is my flesh and blood, borne of me for ten months. Now that he's gone missing, how can I not be worried? You're Ralph's own sister, don't you worry about him at all?" Clara said through her tears.
