The thing called fate

It was already past the off-work time, but Victoria Garcia had no desire to go home.

Most of the people in the office had already left. Candy Foster came in and asked, "General Garcia, do you plan to have dinner here or are you going home to eat?"

Victoria was a bit absent-minded. What was the point of eating alone at home?

When did she start to feel that eating alone was meaningless? She used to eat alone quite often in the past.

"If you plan on eating at the company, do you need me to order some takeaway for you?" Candy asked again.

Victoria looked at Candy and couldn't help but smile: "Emery, I think you should consider having a relationship."

"..."

Candy wondered if she had heard wrongly.

"I'll give you the night off tonight," Victoria said.

Candy shook her head, "General Garcia, I can't do that. As long as CEO Johnson's people haven't come to pick you up, it's my duty to send you back to the villa."
