Victoria responded lightly, "Mr. Hernandez, you're too polite, it's just a simple meal."

"What you eat isn't as important as who you eat with, what sentiments are shared in the meal" Edward Hernandez looked into her eyes, his profound affection evident in his words.

Victoria merely gave a fleeting glance, then turned her head to look out of the window, before turning back to Edward and said, "I need to return to the office to handle some things."

"That's perfect, I also need to return to the office, let's go together!"

Edward Hernandez accepted the premise quite naturally.
