Missed

That night, Victoria Garcia didn't sleep well.

In her dreams, various strange fragments appeared. Arnold Johnson was sometimes tender and affectionate, and at other times cold and ruthless. She couldn't quite tell which was real and which was fake.

Over and over again throughout the night, Victoria kept dreaming.

When she finally woke up, she had forgotten many of those fragments.

By the time she got up, Aunt Taylor had already prepared a hearty breakfast for her.

In the entire villa, apart from Aunt Taylor and herself, it was obvious that Arnold hadn't returned home last night.

For some reason, she felt somewhat disappointed.

In the hospital, everything was quiet for the night.

Arnold had stood guard outside for the entire night and looked a little haggard.

Piper came out of the hospital room and said happily, "Second Young Master, Miss Johnson is awake, she has opened her eyes."

Hearing that she was awake, Arnold let out a sigh of relief for some reason.
