Ending Chapter 3

Speaking of Evelyn Garcia, Amelia Wilson felt she had the most authority to speak and leapt out to say, "Let me tell you, I'm super on point with my instincts and predictions."

"Back when that scumbag Harry Collins held me captive, wanting me to have his child, when my oldest sister, brother-in-law, and Earl Carter came to rescue me, I thought Earl Carter looked pretty handsome and masculine, so I flirted with him a bit." When she got to the word "flirted," Amelia Wilson emphasized again, "It was just a joke flirt, thinking with my beauty I'd definitely reel him in. But who knew, Earl Carter said he wasn't interested in a woman with my looks and personality. I got mad and asked him what type he was interested in?"

"Guess what he said?"

Amelia Wilson glanced over the three of them, her gaze finally resting on Evelyn Garcia, and without teasing, went straight to the point, "He said he liked the little white rabbit type."
