Earl Carter walked over to Arnold Johnson's side, greeted Arnold Johnson and Grayson Thomas, and then went to play with Benjamin and the twins, Joyce and Jonathan.
After playing with them for a while, Earl Carter sat down next to Arnold Johnson and Grayson Thomas.
"You're here to see Evelyn, aren't you? She's with your sister-in-law," Arnold Johnson said straightforwardly.
Earl Carter did not hide his intentions and said directly, "Sister-in-law has become quite temperamental lately, guarding against me as if I were a thief. Brother Johnson, do you think it's really that worrisome for her to let me take care of Evelyn?"
Arnold Johnson observed him carefully; actually, Earl Carter wasn't bad, but his own wife had been a bit moody lately.
