THE OFFER(PART TWO)

Charlotte entered my class and approached me with an angry expression. "I've been trying to call you all day and you keep ignoring my calls," she said as she stood in front of me, tapping her foot on the floor, folding her arms across her breasts, and still looking at me. "Keep your voice down." I said, I'm so tired right now and I was trying to calm her down. I don't want everyone hearing about our conversations. "No, I'm not keeping my voice down; you made me so worried after you left and didn't even care to call and wish me a good night's sleep, and you slept peacefully without thinking about me. Sometimes I don't understand you, and you like to shut me out, which I don't like at all?' She said this angrily. She appears to be correct, in my opinion. But she's not entirely correct in everything she's just said. I bowed my head, then stood up and hugged her. "Johan, please stop. You're perspiring profusely.' She sighed and drew her gaze away from me. "I'm sorry, I ran here instead of walking to school," I said. "Don't worry," she said, pretending to be unaware of what I was about to do. I've known her since I was a child, so it's not that difficult. "All right, next time. I will make every effort to pick up your calls and call you every night,' I promised, smiling at her. "Really?" she asked, her face flushed. "Yes, My Love, and I love you," I said, still smiling, and she kissed me lightly and smiled back. "I love you, too," she said as she kissed him lightly. "Hey, lovebirds," Ava said as she approached us, and Jack just laughed. "What's up, Ava?" Jack enquired. "I'm fine, man.' She said this while looking at us, then at Jack. "She said she wants to see you," Ava explained. "Oh my God. Tell me you're not fucking kidding me.' Everyone turned to look at us as he yelled. "Will you fucking keep your voice down, and I don't know what the hell is wrong with you? Do you have to yell just because a girl agreed to go out with you?' I retorted that his demeanor can be grating at times. "Why not? I'm excited, at least she didn't chase after Haru,' Jack rolled his eyes as I pulled away from Charlotte and sat in my seat. Haru, now that I think about it. I haven't seen him around here. And it's possible that Jack is envious of Haru. It made me laugh just thinking about it now. "Oh, I didn't know you were so envious of Haru," Charlotte mocked, laughing. "Huh. 'I'm not the only one who is envious of him; other guys are as well,' Jack explained. "So you're already admitting it," Charlotte smirked. I burst out laughing. "Jack, how could you even consider such a thing?" I was still laughing, I said. "I don't care if you find it funny and if you were in my shoes. Won't you feel the same way?' Jack leaned back in his chair, his arms folded across his chest. "I believe you're correct. He's attractive, and most of the girls at school adore him, but not to the point of being envious of him.' I elaborated. "Well, that's because he hasn't yet stolen your girlfriend," Jack exclaimed. "What did you just say?" Charlotte inquired, resting both hands on her waist and staring at Jack. "Well, you want to tell me that if you weren't dating Johan, you wouldn't be chasing after him as well? Or maybe?' He emphasized on the word. "You have a secret crush on him,' Jack said with a smile. "Are you insane?" Charlotte continued to stare at Jack. "You're really stupid, and it's not my fault you're not that attractive in the first place?" She stated. "Who's to say I'm not?" Jack said this while staring at Charlotte. "I believe so. You're upset because he came to this school and is more attractive than you, and this is because there will be no more girls to play and fuck around with and that serves you right?' She said, "What did you say?" he asked, rising from his chair and staring at Charlotte. "You heard me correctly, and you weren't deaf when I spoke." Charlotte continued to stare at Jack. "Come on, fellas. Remember, this was just a conversation, not a fight. Shouldn't you just drop it?' Ava spoke up and stepped between them. I simply sat and observed everything that was going on. There is no way I will be jealous of Haru, maybe in a small way, but not in such a big way. I don't really want to get involved, and I'm not sure if I should. And I'm grateful to Ava for stepping in. I'm thinking about Haru because there's only one day left and I'm still trying to figure out what to say to him. Deep down, I believe I already know what to say, but I'm still denying it, and I'm both excited and terrified. "No, this is no longer a conversation. Yes, he's attractive, but I'll never abandon him for Johan.' Charlotte said, and those words pierced my skin like a needle. She can never leave me for Haru, but I'm about to hurt her and, in turn, leave her for Haru. But not immediately leaving her. I believe I should decline his offer and avoid Haru at all costs. And, that's for the best. "Shut the fuck up and never say those words to me again. Those girls I sleep with did it of their own free will, and I never deceived them to get them on my bed, and it's none of your business. Who do I sleep with? Jack added. "Don't piss me off, Charlotte," he said as he walked away. Ava exhaled a sigh. "Charlotte, come on. You went too far, and it was just a simple conversation with no major implications.' Ava said as she sat down on the seat where Jack had previously sat. "That's because it's insignificant to you. How could he say that to me and expect me to laugh and brush it off like that,' Charlotte retorted angrily. "But he was only joking with you,' Ava explained. "That didn't seem like a joke to me?' Charlotte scoffed as she said this. "So, just relax, okay?' She said this as she turned to face me. "'Johan, you're not even saying anything,' she pointed out. "What exactly do you expect me to do?' I burst out laughing. "There was no need for me to intervene,' I explained and shrugged my shoulders. "Well, he's his best friend, so why should he pick a fight with him?' Charlotte reasoned. "I do not agree with any of you. I thought you were having a conversation until you started arguing. So...' That's when Haru entered the classroom and motioned for me to get up and come to him. Why is he calling me, and what does he want now?
