Mark and Sam were riding horses toward a random town. "This must be the place," Sam said as he saw the sign of the town. Dripsville. 'What a depressing name of a town.' Sam thought as Mark rode next to him. "Why does this guy have a bounty?" Mark asked as Sam looked at the poster. "It says that he has lots of debt with crime bosses, is known for making illegal counterfeit witchcraft potions, and has been a huge pain for lots of towns. He basically enslaves them for his own work." This made Sam extremely upset, he felt for many small towns suffering under the government's standards. Mark saw he was hurting by the look on his face, but he decided to cast it aside like he does all the time when Sam gets upset about towns.
Once they made it, the two went through the middle of the town to see tumbleweeds move by with the wind, some houses that looked completely empty, and families on porches that looked sick and were suffering. Sam was angered by this, he went over to a woman sitting on their porch. "Excuse me, would you mind telling me where this criminal is? The one who makes potions or something?" The woman didn't speak, they just looked sick and barely alive with their eyes barely open. Sam decided it was best to look for the bounty himself since the people here clearly have suffered enough. "Titan..." Sam looked back at the woman after she uttered those words. "What did you say, mam?" She looked at Sam in the eyes. "Tian.." Sam was confused by those words. 'What?'
Mark and Sam camped out for the night around a fire after they searched almost the entire town for this bounty, but they couldn't find them, so they decided to rest on it. "Mark?" Mark looked up from the fire after gulping a huge sip of whiskey. "Yeah?" Sam remembered the word narrowly. "Today when I was in town a woman said something weird." Mark was confused. "What did she say?" Sam answered. "Titan." The name didn't mean anything to Mark at all. "Are you asking if it means anything to me?" Sam nodded. "Well, it doesn't. I've never heard that word in my life, except in Greek Myths." Sam thought the name meant something, but he couldn't figure it out. "Who knows, maybe it does mean something important, maybe it doesn't and that woman was just dying of disease and spewing nonsense." Sam then decided to keep it in the back of his head for later and when something came up, he would act on it.
The very next day, when the two went back into town to look for more clues, they found that many people died the very next day. Sam was heartbroken at the sight of people using wagons to carry bodies to be buried. Sam also noticed by looking at one of the bodies that the woman who said those words yesterday had died. "What could have caused this?" Sam asked. "It was that man." Sam and Mark turned to the guy who pushed the Wagon. "What man? Where is he?" The man looked nervous to even speak. "He skipped town days ago after having us work like dogs to try and make a big potion thingy." Mark and Sam thought that there was no point checking the town now, he must have skipped town before they got there, now disappeared into the west. "Can you tell us anything about him?" The man said nothing at first as he kept pushing his Wagon, briefly coughing. "Not much to say, all we know is that when we were making that potion, the chemicals caused us to get sick and well…" He pointed at the bodies. "Thanks for coming to get him anyways, but it's too late, just leave before you get the disease." Mark shrugged it off. "Alright then, let's go. There's no point in staying." Mark began to walk to his horse, only to realize that Sam didn't walk with him. "You coming?" Sam had looked absolutely devastated at the sight of this town, it made him want to actually do something instead of always just standing on the sidelines. "Come on Sam, they'll be alright." Sam then followed Mark back to the horses, the two then went off into the west. "So, are we going after this man?" Sam asked. "No, they're probably long gone by now, there's no point." Sam nodded as they headed back for Red River.
Years Later
One night in Red River, Sam was alone, looking at the moon. "If I go through with this, then I'll be one of the biggest enemies of the state." Sam also thought about Mark. "I would probably lose my closest and only true friend." Sam thought about the choice he was about to make. "Do I go through with it?"
Present Day
It had been a month since the events of Gavin D.C where Gabe single-handedly defeated Billy the Kid. After the defeat, Billy was given life in prison, and word from some citizens got out that Gabe defeated Billy the Kid to some of the West. The people who spread the word then went missing soon after getting it out, but whoever made those people disappear had already been too late. Gabe had grown quite a reputation for his defeating of Billy the Kid, but it was also something to fear for Gabe, as it did make people believe he was far greater than he was.
Leroy and Gabe were fighting together in the middle of the desert not too far from Red River. "HA HA HAHA! I HAVE THE POWER TO TELEPORT AND AM TOO FAST FOR YOU TWO! HA HA HAHA!" Their target had been another bounty, and they were using him for training. Meanwhile, Casity and Mark had been on the side watching. "Remember you two, use your head." Leroy and Gabe had been back to back as the bounty had been teleporting all around him. "Gabe, you got any ideas?" Leroy asked as his guard had been up. Gabe thought about it and tried to think of the best possible way out of this situation. Also, Casity had her eyes on Gabe the entire time and it had been torturous watching him like this, she wanted to help. Casity then began to try and walk to him, but Mark stopped her. "Listen, he needs to learn how to defend himself. You can't always step in for him just because you're afraid he'll be killed or captured, the whole point of this is to train him to better defend himself. Casity looked at Mark in an angry way. "I'll listen just this once, but know this. I will always be by Gabe's side to protect him with my life because Billy told me to, and I will ensure he survives so he can fulfill the promise he made to Billy." Mark looked upset. 'She's been with us for a month and has done nothing but hold onto that promise.'
Gabe tried to think as best he could with the information he had, it then hit him. "I've got an idea, but you won't like it." Leroy nodded. The teleportation man continued to teleport around them with a devilish grin that taunted them, the two then jumped apart and had their guards up. Leroy shot a blast of hell flames where he teleported last, only for him to teleport before he got hit. The man then proceeded to punch Leroy in the stomach. "HAHA! YOU ARE A BAD BOUNTY HUNTER!" Leroy had fallen on the ground with the teleportation guy standing in front of him. 'Damn it, that punch tired me out, I need to wait a bit before I could teleport.' The man still thought he had this win pretty easily, he then heard a clapping noise and turned around to see what it was, only to get shocked by something and knock him out. As it turns out, during that 1-month time frame, Gabe learned how to use the Lightning Shard properly and he thought that since they were dealing with an opponent with this speed, lightning would be their best bet.
Mark smiled, Casity looked as if now that Gabe was safe she didn't care. Mark proceeded to put special handcuffs on his body, the very same cuffs that Billy wore when he was arrested. "What are those Master?" Leroy asked as Gabe helped him up off the ground. "Those Leroy are Witchcraft cuffs, they were made by a rare metal that could only be found in a sacred land. If they are put on someone with witchcraft powers, then they could disable them until the cuffs are removed." Gabe was confused. "How does that work?" Mark explained. "Nobody knows Gabe, like I said the metal is a rare one that is found in a specific land, it is believed to have some magical witchcraft properties within them, but nobody knows for sure." Mark proceeded to drag the teleporting man's body with him toward Red River, the group then followed.
After about 30 minutes of walking, the group finally made it to Red River. Casity had been walking next to Gabe like always, with her guard up constantly. Gabe noticed she was on her guard and decided to try to do something about it. "Casity, you've been with us for a month. You don't always have to be guarding me 24/7." Casity looked at him like she was furious. "Yes I do, I'm protecting you from money hungry bounty hunters to ensure that you keep your promise to Billy." Gabe sighed after hearing this, he was starting to get annoyed by her a bit. Though it didn't look this way, Casity did actually care for Gabe very deeply. Casity at first didn't exactly care for Gabe and was just there because Billy told her to go with him, but over time she saw Gabe as a younger version of Billy himself and grew closer to him. She wasn't just protecting him for the sake of the promise, she was protecting him because she cared for him. Obviously she didn't show it, but it was true. Eventually they began to walk into town with bounty hunters in the streets everywhere. As usual, noises were heard that indicated violence. Gunshots, glasses breaking, wood breaking, it was basically a hell hole. The group walked inside the bar to the Bartender. "Hello Mark, can I help ya?" He looked at Gabe very suspiciously, creeping out Gabe. "Yeah, I've got this guy for the bounty." The Bartender then moved his eyes toward the teleportation guy, who was still knocked out. "Very well." He then snapped his fingers, only for 2 men in suits to come from stairs that led upstairs to come and drag his body up the stairs. The bartender then dropped a small bag of what looked to be coins. "10,000$, as it says. Speaking of which, why are you going after such a cheap bounty? You're better than this Mark." Mark laughed. "Yeah I guess I am, but I'm actually training these two knuckle heads." The Bartender looked at Leroy and Gabe once again. "Oh right I forgot about you two." The Bartender then noticed Casity and looked at her, she saw his constant smile he had and thought of it like how Billy always had his at all times, but this guy was creepier. "And who's this lady?" Casity looked unimpressed. "I'm Casity and I'm not a bounty hunter, I'm just joining them on their journey for other reasons." The Bartender was silent for a second while looking at Casity, but he continued to wipe glasses. "Very well then, go get your target and be on your way." Mark took the money and they were about to walk off to get the next bounty, but Gabe was thirsty. "Can I have some milk?" Mark sighed as he took out 2 gold coins from the sack he just got and handed them to Gabe, who promptly ran over to the booth with Casity obviously following him. Leroy and Mark went to the posters to find another target.
Meanwhile at the front of Red River, a figure had been in front of the gate. He then walked through it with everyone staring at him with fear like he was the devil. He then made it to the bar of the town. "Finally I'm here."
"When's the milk gonna be done you weirdo bartender?" The bartender laughed. "Weirdo? You're probably much weirder than I am kid, so you shouldn't be talking." Gabe looked embarrassed after hearing this. "He's not far off." Casity said, angering Gabe. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S NOT WRONG!?" Casity then for the first time slightly smiled. When Gabe noticed this, he smiled as well. "I've gotta ask, how have you been holding up?" Casity then stopped smiling and looked at nothing but the table. "It's been a hard adjustment, but I've been managing." Gabe was happy to hear that, if only she smiled more. Infact, at this moment, this had been the first time Gabe had ever seen Casity smile since he met her. The bartender placed the glass with milk in front of Gabe. "One boring Milk for the weird kid." Making Gabe sigh. 'Did he really have to say that out loud…' Casity began to slightly chuckle after hearing this. Gabe then took a drink of his milk, only for the figure to stand behind him. Casity immediately turned to him with his guard up, but freaked out as soon as she saw the belt he wore. 'IT CAN'T BE!' Mark and Leroy were still reading posters when Leroy noticed who was standing behind Gabe. Leroy got Mark's attention and once he did, Mark also freaked out inside. The figure had been Red Hercules. "Gabe!" As soon as Gabe heard those words, he jumped as he was startled and didn't expect someone to be behind him. When he turned around and saw Red Hercules, he smiled. "Hey there big guy." Red Hercules looked serious and didn't smile however. "I have come all this way to find you for one purpose." Gabe was confused and nervous. 'Did he know that I was the kid with the massive bounty?' Casity knew she couldn't possibly match such an ungodly opponent if he went rogue, but she couldn't do nothing. Everyone had their guard up for if he was going to take Gabe, but then he answered. "I am here to fight you." Those words surprised Gabe.
