Chapter 31 Attack On The Titan

Mark, Casity, and Leroy all heard the explosion. "What the hell was that?!" Casity asked. Leroy got off Mark's chest and went to go look. "It's a way to redeem the mission." Leroy smiled looking at Jeff from a distance. "Do you want to join me Master? Or are you gonna keep disappointing me?" He turned back to Mark, Casity also looked at Mark who had a serious expression. "You do realize that we're going to go up against the former strongest man in the world, someone who is nearly Red Hercules levels of power?" Leroy nodded and Casity looked frightened, Mark then turned away from them and implied he wouldn't go with them. "Well, that's reckless." Leroy looked disappointed, Mark then smiled behind their backs. "If you're gonna be reckless then you need to do it the right way, with a professional." Mark turned to Leroy and smiled. "Let's do this kid."

Meanwhile, Jeff had been rampaging in Alabtown with his Titan abilities, with one punch he was able to destroy a house, but luckily many families escaped before the houses were destroyed. "THIS TOWN WILL BE PUNISHED FOR OPPRESSING THE TITANS!" He roared. "EVERYONE GO! RIGHT NOW TO THE EXIT! IT ISN'T SAFE HERE!" The Sheriff had been leading people out of town to get away from Jeff, but Jeff didn't want to allow that. Jeff proceeded to rush toward the evacuating people with his monster like speed, eventually catching up to them and readying a punch. "OH NO! HE'S GOING TO KILL US!" A woman screamed as he stood in front of them with a punch ready to blow them all away, but just in the nick of time, an ice wall formed in front of the punch and canceled out the shock force from the punch from hitting the citizens. It was revealed that Mark, Leroy, and Casity were nearby the citizens, ready for a fight. Mark had his Scythe at the ready, Leroy had his fists on fire, and Casity had her fists in the form of ice cubes. Jeff turned to them and made a loud roar. "ROAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He then began rushing toward them at a high speed. "Here he comes, what do we do?" Casity asked. "We dodge." They then jumped out of the way, only for Jeff to unintentionally slam into a building and crush it into thousands of pieces. The others looked horrified at the sight of this. 'So, that would have been us?' Casity thought. Casity then looked back to the time that Gabe fought Red Hercules. 'Red Hercules then went for a punch, only for Gabe to block it with his right hand like he did with Billy the Kid, except this time it was different. Once Gabe had blocked, a cracking noise could be heard. "AHHHHHHHHH!" Gabe's Ragna faded away, surprising Red Hercules. It turns out that the impact from that punch was enough to break Gabe's arm, shocking both Casity and Red Hercules again.' Saki knew that one punch from Titan could potentially cripple them for life, so she had to be careful. "GUYS! WE CAN'T GET HIT BY THAT PUNCH OR WE'RE DONE FOR!" Leroy and Mark nodded. "I think it was kind of implied with the fact that he walked through that house like it was paper." They then landed behind Jeff who just turned around after destroying the house. "We need a strategy, something to counter his strength." Jeff smiled. "YOU TRULY THINK YOU COULD MATCH SOMETHING THAT ONLY A GREEK GOD COULD FACE!?" Jeff began laughing evilly. "THIS WILL BE EASY!" Mark thought to himself. 'God? That must mean that the story books are true, which must mean!" He had an idea. "Guys, I have something to ask of you." Leroy and Casity turned to Mark. "I need you to distract him for at least a minute, I have a plan." Leroy and Casity nodded. "Got it, that's easy." Leroy ran toward Jeff. "I told you I'm not a bounty hunter, but I'll still do what it takes to help friends of Gabe." Casity smiled as she created ice beneath her feet and used it as a way of transportation by skating toward Jeff. Meanwhile, Mark made his gun finger sign and began to charge electricity. 'If Zeus was the only one who could match the titans, then I believe the only way to truly match him is with lightning of my very own.' Mark kept charging and focusing. 'Good luck.' He said in his head, implying he gives good luck to Casity and Leroy.

Meanwhile, the two charged at Jeff and got closer. "READY!" Leroy yelled, the two prepared to attack as Jeff began to charge at them himself. "STUPID CHILDREN!" He then charged, getting extremely close to Leroy and Casity. "NOW!" Leroy proceeded to shoot a hellflame blast at Jeff, along with Casity shooting an ice blast from her palm. Jeff began to slow down as he began to block the blasts, Leroy's plan had been working. "WE NEED TO KEEP HIM HERE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!" Casity nodded. "Right!" Jeff kept blocking the blasts, staying in place. 'ARG! I GUESS I'M GOING TO HAVE TO REVEAL MY TRUMP CARD.' Jeff then closed his eyes, seconds later, his arms skin color turned from dark brown to a shining silver like steel. Leroy and Casity saw this, they were both shocked. 'WHAT THE HELL!?' Leroy thought. 'WHAT IS HE DOING!?' Casity thought. Jeff then began to push through the blasts with his silver arms, and as he pushed through, the sound of metal clashing could be heard. 'IS THAT METAL!?' Leroy thought. Jeff proceeded to start rushing again, this time toward Mark who was still charging. 'DAMN IT! I CAN'T LET HIM GET TOWARD MARK!' Sark thought, she proceeded to make an ice wall in front of him, thinking it would at least slow him down. Jeff proceeded to smash through the ice like it was paper, scaring Casity. 'Last time he hit it with a lot of his strength and effort, I could tell by the way he hit it, but this time he walked through like it was paper.' Jeff then stopped in his tracks and turned toward Casity. "YOU! GIRL!" Casity was shocked, Leroy feared for Casity. "YOUR ICE IS ANNOYING! YOU WILL BE MY NEXT VICTIM!" Jeff then began rushing toward Casity. She then began ice sliding like before, thinking she would at least be fast enough, but Jeff had been much faster. Casity then turned around while sliding, she began to create ice walls to try and slow him down again, but it was no use since Jeff powered through them like they were paper. Eventually, Casity lost her energy to continue. She was now panting, barley standing up, and awaiting Jeff to hit her. 'I wish I could move, but I've used too much energy.' She began to feel sorry. 'I'm sorry, Gabe, Billy, and everyone. I wasn't strong enough.' Jeff was now infront of her, just about to slam into her and potentially break all her bones, meanwhile Leroy had been running there as fast as he could. Jeff smiled as he almost hit Casity, only for Leroy to push her out of the way and take her place, shocking Casity. 'L-Leroy!?' She fell to the ground, able to see the battle infront of her, she then saw Jeff slam into Leroy with this god-like strength, seeing the pain that Leroy was now in. "ARG!!!!!!" Leroy flew backward to the ground, spinning around until he finally landed. "LEROY!" She screamed. Leroy was now on the ground, completely beaten, his arms were now completely broken by blocking the hit from Jeff, his legs were bruised and battered from the impact of falling back, his face was bleeding from the nose and lip, and he also looked upset. "Why...why did you do that stupid?" Leroy answered. "Because...I made a poor choice before...and I want to make it up to you...since we're teammates now…" This answer shocked Leroy, she was surprised that he felt sorry for putting the Angel Blood above her own life. Jeff began to laugh. "YOU HUMANS ARE STUPID! A TITAN WOULD NEVER RISK IS OWN LIFE FOR ANOTHER! BECAUSE WE ARE MIGHTY THAT WAY!" Casity got angry, along with Leroy. She proceeded to just barely get up, while barely standing on two feet. She panted. "I heard that Titans come from hell….is that right!?" Jeff said nothing. "NOW GO BACK TO IT!" With her last bit of energy, Casity stomped her left foot toward Jeff, making a trail of ice go toward him, to which it froze around him, encasing him inside ice. The ice had been massive, the size of 2 houses. 'There, that should hold him.' She then collapsed. 'I went past my limit, I leave the rest to you now, Mark.' Casity then thought for a second. 'What if Gabe were here, would the outcome be different? Oh Gabe, Gabe, Where are you?' With her last breath Casity screamed. "GABE!!!!!!!!!!!"

Now that Leroy and Casity were out of the picture, Jeff decided it was about time to target Mark, he then turned toward where he was, only for him to be gone. "WHAT!? I COULD HAVE SWORN HE WAS THERE JUST A MINUTE-" Just then, Mark appeared next to Titan with his speed and kicked him in the face, which pushed him back a bit. "ARG!" Mark had still been charging the electricity, but that didn't mean he couldn't attack while doing so. 'HE ATTACKED!? EVEN WHILE CHARGING THAT SPECIAL ATTACK OF HIS!?' Just then, while Jeff was wide open after that hit, Mark opened his eyes and pointed his finger at Jeff. "GO TO HELL MONSTER!" The Lightning shot out of his finger and hit Jeff, which knocked him back as if he were shot by a bullet from a real gun. Jeff fell to the ground and looked unconscious, meanwhile Mark had panted from the use of his energy, it was definitely a hard battle. Mark turned to see Casity and Leroy both unconscious and hurt badly. 'Damn they won't be walking this off anytime soon.' Mark put Casity over his shoulder and was about to do the same to Leroy, when all of a sudden, Jeff began laughing again. "YOU THINK THAT PUNY BOLT OF LIGHTNING COULD HURT ME!?" Mark was shocked by this, he thought that he was down for the count, but it turns out the bolt of lightning was blocked by Jeff's steel power. "THAT NEW POWER OF MINE IS WHAT MAKES ME STRONGEST TITAN THAT EVER LIVED! WITH IT, I AM ABLE TO TURN MY SKIN HARDER THAN STEEL AT WILL! BLOCKING YOUR FANCY TRICKS!" Mark thought about that ability he just described, then it hit him, before he was able to kick him in the face when he didn't harden, he assumed that was because he wasn't expecting that. 'I'll just have to hit him when he isn't expecting it again, but how do I do that?" Mark tried to think, he then had an idea. "BRING EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT BOUNTY HUNTER SCUM! HA HA HA HA!" Jeff put up his hands in a boxing stance, Mark then compressed his hands and slowly pulled them apart to reveal the reaper scythe. He then got into his fighting stance, the two stood apart from each other and got ready to fight, only for the both of them to charge at each other at the exact same time. Both of them then began to fight in close quarters combat, Jeff attempted to punch Mark many times, but he either blocked it with the scythe or dodged it. 'HE IS QUITE POWERFUL, FOR A HUMAN!' After dodging a blocking, Mark then kicked him in the stomach, which he expected, but that was a part of Mark's plan as he used that steel to push off Jeff and be at a distance. Mark proceeded to swing multiple beams at Jeff, which he either dodged or took head on with his steel. Jeff then began to charge at Mark as he swung those beams, getting closer and closer. 'Get ready.' Mark said to himself. Jeff was now right in front of Mark who looked shocked and scared, only for Jeff to slam right through Mark and shatter him into a million pieces. 'WHAT!?' As it turns out, that was just an illusion with mass created by the real Mark from a distance, while this distraction battle was happening, Mark had actually been charging another Lightning Shard with the remaining 35% he had left. 'HIS GUARD IS DOWN NOW THAT HE THINKS I'M DEAD! NOW'S THE CHANCE!' Mark proceeded to hold his wrist with the other hand and got ready to fire this bigger lightning shard. 'LIGHTNING SHARD SHOTGUN!' Mark fired the blast at Jeff while his guard was down, but instead of the last time where it barely touched him, this blast actually did hit Jeff in the stomach hard. "ARG!!!!!" He screamed from that hit, and it knocked him back a lot. Jeff was now unconscious on the ground, not responding. Meanwhile, Mark had been panting from that fight, since it was a hard victory. Much like Casity, Mark collapsed, he was now at 0% of energy. 'Welp, I hope I don't die…' He thought, thinking he won. Just then, Jeff got back up, steaming from the chest from that hit. Mark was extremely shocked. "I'LL GIVE YOU CREDIT, A WEAK HUMAN SUCH AS YOURSELF ACTUALLY HURTING A TITAN." Jeff began to chuckle. "Too bad that wasn't enough lightning to kill me either." Mark was in total shock. "YOU'VE LOST THIS BATTLE, YOUR COMRADES SLAIN, YOUR PEOPLE YOU'RE PROTECTING HAVE ABANDONED YOU, NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE YOU, YOU HAVE LOST!!!!!" Jeff began to maniacally laugh. "NOW!" Mark wondered what he meant. Jeff then turned back into his normal human self he looked like before, it was like All Might turning back into small might. "I'm going to go start my plan." Mark was still confused. "Just to inform you, that angel blood I drank didn't just restore my Titan abilities that were taken from me, it also gave me the hardening ability, and it also gave me the ability to genetically spread Titan blood." This shocked Mark. "I'm going to use Slabtown to make more Titans and eventually kill every human, returning the West back into the Titan's hands." After Mark heard this, he thought about all the countless lives that would be lost because of him not doing anything right now. "Now, stay down and die, it's inevitable that I will win." Jeff began to walk away. "Wait…" Jeff stopped and turned around to see Mark was still conscious. "Why...did you lose your Titan...form...before…" Jeff's smile turned to a frown. "If you must know, It was because of that idiot human known as Red Hercules." Mark was surprised to hear this. "I forgot, once I accomplish my goal, I'm going to crush him and retain the status of strongest in the world." Mark thought about Gabe, if he went after Red Hercules, then surely Gabe would be involved as well. "Soon the future will just be Titans and no more humans. Just sit back and wait for that day while I do all the work." Mark was angry, but he couldn't do anything in his state, it was even a miracle that he was remotely alive. 'I can't do anything, I'm sorry Leroy, Casity, Sam, and you Gabe. I'm sorry, I've failed you as a master.' Mark was thinking this as Jeff walked further away from him and toward Slabtown. 'I hope you could one day look into your heart and forgive me.'

Just then, dark clouds began to appear nearby and began to rumble thunder. Jeff turned around to see the storm clouds, and Mark looked up at them. The thunder clouds also woke up Casity and Leroy and surprised them. 'It hasn't stormed in this town for years…what the hell is going on?' Jeff thought. Everyone was completely shocked by the thunder clouds, wondering how they could possibly be there. Eventually the clouds were right above the town, and everyone looked directly up in front of them. 'What is going on?' Mark thought. Just then, a thunderbolt struck in between Jeff and the team, this thunderbolt made a loud noise and struck as fast as lightning itself. Everyone shielded their eyes from the flash of thunder, once it cleared, there had been a bunch of smoke. Mark had his eyes closed from the flash, he then opened his eyes and saw the smoke, he also thought he saw figures in the smoke, but he didn't believe it. Just as the smoke cleared, Mark was shocked to see what he thought he saw. 2 Figures stood where the bolt struck, one of them had black pants, black boots, white skin, a belt with a golden mount Olympus buckle, orange long hair, an orange beard, a stern face, he'd been about 7.2, had a six pack and massive muscles, and had his arms crossed and looked ready for a fight. It had been Red Hercules! The other figure had black pants like Red Hercules, black boots, the same buckle of mount Olympus except it had been silver, he also wore no shirt and was bare chested, but instead he wore a white cloak, he had been about 5.5, had brown spiky hair, a stern face, he also had his arms crossed, and was ready for a fight. Mark was extremely shocked at this sight, he couldn't believe his eyes while looking at the white cloaked figure. 'Could it really be?' Mark tried to comprehend it, Leroy and Casity also thought the same thing. 'Is that really who I think it is?' There was no mistake about it, the figure in the white cloak was Gabe.
