Su Lun cleaned up some traces of battle in the storeroom, ensuring no one could trace those obvious combat marks back to him.
Then, he carefully wandered through every level of the cruise ship.
The bottom cabin, a dense area of civilian passengers, had turned into scenes of hell. Almost all humans had mutated into monsters, dying in grotesque and horrifying states. Due to the loss of the Blood Refining Altar, the bodies of the monsters had shrunk, turning into oddly shaped mummies.
In the areas with clear signs of fighting, the bodies had merged into various multi-faced creatures, dried up like gnarled old trees. Various bits of flesh hung on the walls and floor, giving one goosebumps at a glance.
Su Lun collected some specimens of the not-yet-dead multi-faced monsters and threw them to Dr. Banks in the Minor Void Realm for research.
By the time he arrived at the banquet hall again, half an hour had passed.
...
The banquet hall was in chaos, the people still unsettled.
