Plans Going Forward

It was 10 A.M when we reached the office. I entered the office with Jin-woo and saw the lively atmosphere. Jin-ho had hired some employees to make the guild run smoother as me and Jin-woo rarely worry about anything other than clearing the gates so all this fell on Jin-ho and Queresha.

'I have to make it up to Queresha for the trouble I have caused her. She has been working hard all this time.' I thought as I smiled.

All the attention was on us as we walked in as Jin-ho came towards us.

"Hyung and Haru, meet the employees I selected them after the interviews. They are all competent people that will help us run the guild." Jin-ho said proudly

I looked at the employees as I haven't met them till now. There are a total of 8 employees' seven females and one male who looked so out of place.

"Why are there so many Females here?" Jin-woo whispered to Jin-ho as he was confused.

"Haha, well…." Jin-ho was laughing awkwardly as he wasn't sure what to say.

'I looked at Jin-ho then looked at the female employees who were all good-looking and understood this guy is still young I guess. Well, I know he won't choose someone incompetent so it's ok.' I nodded as I patted jin-ho on his shoulder and said.

"It is ok I understand. You are still young."

"You do? And aren't you the same age as me?" Jin-ho asked while tilting his head.

"Don't sweat the small stuff," I said.

"Anyway, you guys are late everyone is waiting for you." Jin-ho was confused at what I said then shook his head as he asked.

"It's his fault." Both me and Jin-woo Pointed at each other and said with a straight face. We were so focused on bickering that Jin-woo lost his way. It isn't my fault.

"What do you mean it is my fault you were the one who was driving and lost his way, not me?" I said to him.

"If it wasn't for you distracting me with your taunting we would have reached earlier," Jin-woo said.

"Ok ok let's go inside and let's not waste time here," I said while walking towards the meeting room. Both Jin-ho and Jin-woo came after me as well as we left the dumbfounded employees behind.

I entered the meeting room and saw Hae-in, Kanae, and Queresha sitting when I entered Kanae looked at me.

"Look who finally showed up." She said with a smirk as she folded her hands under her chest which emphasized it further. It looked like her Purple top with burst open if she applied more force.

"Something happened along the way. Sorry." I said as I pinched her right cheek as I sat down next to Hae-in.

"Don't repeat it," Kanae said as she knocked my hand away while looking away.

I nodded and looked at Hae-in who was smiling.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Nothing." She said as she held my hand. I smiled as she took the initiative to hold my hand. She has become more active with me since our last date.

"OK stop flirting you two. We have to start the meeting." Kanae said while pouting which caused Hae-in to smile as she pulled her hand back. Both Jin-ho and Jin-woo sat down and Queresha stood up as she passed everyone a copy of documents.

I looked at the papers and raised an eyebrow.

'For this amount of S-rank gates to open in small intervals and with the spike in the appearance of the gates. The rulers are going all out to strengthen earth to its limits.' I thought.

With only 2 monarchs left it will be easier for the rulers to capture magical beasts from the cracks between the worlds. They can easily get a large amount of them now which has led to the current increase in the number of gates.

'Well, they want humanity to survive. The point here is they don't bat an eye to how many are going to survive. They will make sure that there are enough and won't care how many die.' It is understandable from their point of view. I won't be relying on them anyway I have made preparations for this situation anyway.

"This is a problem," Jin-woo said with a serious face as he placed the document on the table.

Everyone nodded at his words.

"Five in Africa, Three in Australia, Two in USA, Five across Europe. A total of Fifteen S-rank gates have opened all over the world in two days." Queresha said with a straight face.

"The world is already in chaos because of the sudden increase in gates. But USA and Australia don't have to worry because they have National Rank hunters and many S-ranks that can take care of them the problem is in Africa and Europe. Even though England has a National Rank Hunter he will be busy because of the gates that opened in Manchester and Birmingham. England is going to focus on its gates and has no intention to help others which has caused European countries to panic. Russia also doesn't have any intention to help from the terms they proposed in the meetings that have happened."

Queresha said as she showed the statement made by the Queen of England and the terms of Russia has issued if any country wants their help. It is only natural that they are going to focus on their gates rather than helping.

And Russia is using this opportunity to rip off profits. To demand 70% of the gates profits with extra payment over that is ridiculous no matter how you see it but the other countries don't have any choice in the matter as they can't refuse if they want their help. They don't have any ground to make demands and S-rank gates aren't so easy to clear unless you have a National Rank hunter.

"Africa is in even worst condition because the continent doesn't have many awakened hunters. Considering the size they have to defend." Queresha said.

I nodded as the total population of the African continent is even lower compared to China and India. It is not that they don't have powerful hunters the area they have to defend is too Large and there is that as well.

"They are trying to reach out to other countries but they aren't able to make a deal. And many areas have been infested with monsters in Africa because of the many Dungeon breaks that have happened there in past and the monsters that haven't been cleared till this day continued to increase in numbers." Queresha said as she showed the map of the monster-infested region and 2 S-rank gates were in the Monster-infested region which was in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and South Sudan with each region having an S-rank gate and many A and B rank gates.

Those are the biggest Monster infested areas there are many smaller ones in the Sahara desert and Madagascar which is fully occupied by monsters.

We sighed while looking at the photos taken by the satellite showed how many monsters there were in those regions. The African hunters were able to block the region off because of a hunter that specializes in the earth element. The hunter has been keeping the regions in check while the rest of the hunter's clear gates and occasionally kill monsters in the region.

they have tried to clear the areas many times with large-scale expeditions but it failed because of the sheer number of monsters.

"So what is going to happen? if those gates open then… " Jin-ho said with fear in his eyes as he saw the monsters and the number of gates.

"Many people are going to die. The damage is not something we can estimate. African hunters can barely maintain the status quo at the moment. When those gates open it doesn't take a genius to guess what will happen." Queresha said with a blank expression.

The atmosphere in the room was heavy as everyone was thinking about the possible damages.

"The European countries can 'manage' the gates as they have resources and hunters as well. The problem is with Africa." I said which caused everyone to nod.

'Although they can manage it there will be casualties for sure.' I thought as I looked at Jin-woo who was looking at me. He caught the meaning behind my words.

'I am sure he wants to help in this situation. And I think it's a good opportunity for him to show his power.' I thought as….

My phone rang. I saw the name and smiled.

'Right on time.'

"I'll be back in a sec," I said as I stood up everyone nodded as I walked out of the room.

"Hello, what happened Chairman Go?" I asked as I stood on the balcony.

-Can you free some time for a meeting?

"Is it about the S- Rank gates?"

-Yes there is a representative sent from Africa and some from Europe as well.

He said with a small chuckle.

"Is it alright if I come in an hour?" I asked.

-Sure. I'll let them know.

He said as he chuckled and disconnected the call.

I went back into the room and sat down on the seat.

"Did you get the offer to clear the gates?" Jin-woo asked.

"You bet I did. There are representatives from Africa and Europe currently waiting at the Hunter association. But I will go there in an Hour after reviewing all the information." I said.

"I'll be coming with you as well," Jin-woo said.

I nodded and watched the information that was compiled by Queresha.

After 50 Minutes I stood up and said.

"We'll be going then. Queresha did you prepare the documents." I asked Queresha who nodded.

"Aren't you going to be late?" Kanae said.

"Of course not." I laughed as I placed my hands on the shoulders of Jin-woo and Queresha.

"Well, then we are off," I said as I used my Flying thunder God technique and we were already in the chairman's office.

"FUCK." Jin-Chul shouted as we arrived in front of him. He looked like his soul left his body.

"Geez, you are going to give me a heart attack one of these days." I heard Jin-Chul's tired voice and smiled.

"Where are the representatives?" I asked him while patting his shoulder.

"DON'T BE SO NONCHALANT ABOUT THIS YOU...…" Jin-Chul shouted as he knocked my hand off.

I laughed at his behavior.

".....I need to change my job or I am going to die early." He looked at me and sighed heavily while leading the way.
