Nervous?

The Dokkaebi smiled faintly as it became transparent and disappeared into the next space.

[Then, good luck everyone. Please show me an interesting story.]

'So this is how it is done in this world,' Haru thought while calmly looking at the screen trying to gain more information.

'Since it is said #1 scenario, there will be more in the future, there is also the clear condition, time limit, reward, and penalty, should I trust what is written here?' Haru thought seriously.

'No need to think too much the only thing this guy has going for him is fear, for now, the task is killing one or more … creatures,' Haru's eyes roamed around the passenger car and his eyes landed on a particular boy who was sitting on his seat absentmindedly with a corpse of a woman at his feet. There was an insect box in his hands with grasshoppers inside tears spilling out of his eyes.

'That woman was with that boy, So she got killed, But Creatures, huh? Interesting tactic,' Haru thought and looked at Dok-ja who was also looking at the boy.

'There was this channel opening with constellations entering as well, what does this mean? Constellations? Stars forming a pattern to resemble an animal, mythological creature, or an object, Channel opened? Constellations joined?... I hope it isn't what I think it is, because if it is, things might get a little troublesome,' Haru sighed, he didn't take any information from Kurumi since having her do any more than what she had done would be risky. Anyway, she had a more important task to do rather than getting information.

So all Haru can do and use his brain to figure things out, He already had a theory in his mind from what he had seen all that was left was to see how things will go forward.

Haru looked at Queresha who was in deep thought. It was likely she had her own two cents on the matter but now wasn't the time to discuss it since people were too anxious.

Some people were trying to get out of the compartment while others were trying to call the police.

"T-The police isn't picking up what do I do Queresha-ssi?" Sang-ah was the latter, she looked really scared at this moment. Maybe it was because there was someone she knew and trusted besides her that she was able to display her fear.

"Control yourself first, panicking is the worst thing to do in a situation like this," Queresha spoke flatly making Haru's lips twitch.

'She is a normal girl and a kind one at that, how do you expect her to be calm in a situation like this?' Haru rolled his eyes but Sang-ah needed to calm down because no normal person can survive in a brutal world where you can die at any turn.

"O-Ok," Sang-ah licked her lips and nodded.

'Haru-ssi and Queresha-ssi are really composed, No Now that I look at them,' Dok-ja looked at Haru who had this serious look and hadn't said anything for a while, Queresha on the other hand was also silent but her body was leaning on Haru and the two seemed way closer than when they were sitting before.

'These two are also nervous as expected, But I can't blame them even I who knows all about this can't wrap my head around it,' Dok-ja slowly controlled his breathing and started to use his head to the best he can.

Haru and Queresha on the other hand were quite close, close enough that their bodies were touching, to others it might look like a couple that was shocked and were coping with the situation by staying close.

Tapping at each other's hands and exchanging words without saying anything, they made sure that no one could see it and were using Morse code to exchange small words to get information across. Using the index finger for the dot and the thumb for the dash, it was very easy for them to distinguish if it was the finger or the thumb of the other person.

'Ideas,' Haru asked.

'Some,' Queresha replied.

'Proper?' Haru was curious what Queresha's take on the matter was, he himself didn't arrive at a fixed answer yet.

'Only specs,' it looked like that Queresha was the same, they could only make speculation based on what information they have now, and it will take time for them to get a proper answer.

But there is one thing they can conclude.

These Scenarios will only get harder as time goes by, the very first scenario is to kill another which is a mortal sin. And it would be done with full knowledge and consent given the situation.

'No matter which religion killing is a sin that is punished with damnation by the gods, Who were very likely watching all of this unfold,' Haru still didn't like this fact and wished it wasn't true. Being watched isn't a fun experience.

Even if it was never specified that they had to kill another person, The fear triggers the survival instinct of the humans which will cause their visions to narrow.

'I don't know if the same thing that is happening here is happening around the world, but if it is, that would mean that every person that lives past this scenario is a murderer who took another's life to save their own, quite devious plot if I say so,' Haru closed one eye while looking around the compartment, the people were on edge and still trying to look for a way out.

It hadn't devolved into a mess till now but the rope is stretched thin already a little trigger and then the sense of morality will be cut down by the instinct to survive. But it will take some time since…..

"Come on, everybody! Everybody calm down. Start breathing calmly."

Someone stepped forward exactly five minutes after the Dokkaebi disappeared. He was a sturdy man with short-cut hair, one head taller than the average height. he was still an inch shorter than Haru.

"Are you calm yet? Please stop your actions and pay attention to me for a moment."

The people sobbing or making calls stopped. Once everyone's eyes were gathered on him, the big man opened his mouth again.

"As you know, in the event of a national disaster, small disturbances can cause large human casualties. That's why I will now control the situation."

"What, who are you?"

"A national disaster situation? What are you saying?"

Some people belatedly recovered and strongly resisted the word 'control'. Then the young man pulled a government official card out of his wallet.

"I am currently an army lieutenant serving in the 6502 unit."

Some people's faces became relieved. "A soldier, he is a soldier."

"I just received a message from my unit."

People gathered in front of the soldier's smartphone. I was able to read the contents without difficulty because I was near it.

–A level 1 national disaster situation has occurred. All troops gather quickly.

'So the military has already shown a response? But that isn't going to help, they can't do anything against someone who blows off people's heads just by looking at them,' Haru thought while looking at the situation in the compartment calm down.

'A character from the novel has appeared, Steel Sword Lee Hyun-sung, Now there is no way I can deny this situation,' Dok-ja thought while looking at the military man and failed to notice a pair of eyes looking at him.

"Haru-ssi the president is making a speech it really is a Level 1 national disaster," Queresha said while showing her phone to Haru, Sang-ah and Dok-ja also looked at her phone as other people also started to check the internet.

–To all my fellow citizens, unidentified terrorists are currently active in an unspecified number of areas, including Seoul.

The contents of the speech were simple. The current government would mobilize all means and methods to fight the terrorists, and there would be no negotiations.

'What is this bullshit?' Haru wanted to facepalm right now but it isn't like the government could do much in this situation.

"Uwaaaaack! What?"

People dropped their phones as gunshots were heard from all over. It originated from their smartphones. Chiiiik, there was a loud sound, and blood filled the screen. After a moment, people held their breaths as they realized what had happened.

"P-Prime Minister…"

The prime minister had died. His head had exploded in real time. There were several more sounds like gunfire before the screen became silent. The next thing that appeared on the screen was a Dokkaebi.

[Everyone, I've told you already. This isn't a game like 'terrorism'.]

People were at a loss for words as their mouths gaped open like dumb goldfish.

'Look at this newbie you must be getting frustrated since no one made a move in this carriage right? Well, his next move is predictable,' Haru closed one eye as Queresha was looking at the screen along with a scared Sang-ah and a calm Dok-ja.
