His Face Came Closer And Closer

Suddenly Ash turned towards me and walked between me and Knox, a chill ran down my spine remembering his price. I wanted to tell him how I won't fulfil it but my lips glued together now that he was this close.

He extended his hand ahead and I instinctively took it, "Congratulations Ms Angel, are you headed outside? Let's walk together"

"No, thank you-"

"Knox, call me later I will accompany Angel outside", Ash interrupted and I couldn't protest yet again. Knox waved a bye to me and I waved back looking over my shoulders as Ash was calmly dragging me with him.

As soon as we were out my heartbeat raced, last time we were alone he cornered me into agreeing to a price that did not need to be paid.

"I am sorry I didn't catch your last name", he asked politely as if it was going to be a normal conversation.

My lips pursed as I did a weird smile, "I prefer you call me Angel, I am a bit void of parents"
