Rotten moods

Liliana sighed after falling into bed, she stared at the ceiling thinking of Tristan's teases, she replayed the image of his face in her mind and realized she really did want that kiss which reminded her of the kiss they shared in her living room. That kiss was her first kiss and to Raquel, it was romantic but when he kissed her as an apology back then, she felt nothing coming from him only how eager he was. She felt his dishonesty in that kiss which caused her to flare up then.

Liliana couldn't believe she could confront and speak to him the way she did that night. But thankfully, Tristan didn't hurt her because that night she pushed him too. And now, she liked the Tristan he was becoming. Liliana rolled over to lay on her side and hug the teddy bear but it wasn't on her bed. It was in Tristan's house!

"Looking for this?" She heard, which shook her to the core. Her heart almost jumped out of her throat as she looked at him in aghast. Tristan's good-looking face detained the sudden fear and her gaze landed on that sweet lips of his.

"Yes," she eyed him as she extended her hand to collect it from him but Tristan made it seem like she pulled him closer, making him fall on top of her.

Liliana gasped, Tristan chuckled that chuckle. He remembered when she was still upset and how her guts made her feelings disappear. He was on top of her just like this but she faced him by saying what if she was dead, would he bring her out of the grave and kiss her? Those words made him laugh.

"Why laughing?" She asked acting like she was shrinking into the bed. She didn't want any part of him to touch her but his warm breath was and his long hair tickled her cheek as she didn't look at him.

"You are the cause of my laughter," Tristan leaned back and that heat again vanished. Liliana sat up and glared at him.

Tristan beheld those glaring eyes and leaned in while she leaned back, "Still want that kiss, 'cause I can see you glaring at me."

Liliana's throat went dry, and she couldn't talk so, she covered her face with the teddy bear. "Just want to sleep," she said in a low tone.

Tristan smiled and went away. "Liliana," she looked at him and saw him wave before leaving through the air.

Liliana threw her head to her pillow and sighed before touching her chest. "Oh, God," she whispered and hugged the teddy so tight. What was Tristan always doing to her with that look of his and flirty words? Liliana touched her burning ear with her cold hands to ease the warmth. Oh, goodness! Tristan...

Liliana didn't understand how she was feeling right now. On one part she loved as he teases her, lit some matches inside her that causes heat, and surges her with those feelings she doesn't understand. And the other part, she hated how naughty he was. Liliana saw that look of desire as they ate the noodles and when he hugged her from behind as she showed him how to cut the onion. She felt his desire, his obsidian eyes that always catch her off guard and weaken her guts, cause her heart to beat faster, and pierce into her soul, sold his feelings out when she looked into his eyes, that was a good reason to why he was harping about the kiss and he was manipulating her like crazy.

Liliana now already knew that he was attracted to her. She didn't know a sorcerer who only performs black magic could be attracted to women.

That was what she hate about him, his sexual addiction and his merciless attitude.

The next morning arrived with a brightening atmosphere, Liliana was already prepared for work and then stared at her mirror to tie her long black hair into a high ponytail before adding some make-up and then she left her house to find Tristan reading a newspaper but this time, he was more interested in the newspaper he was reading that he had to bring the paper too close to his face and skim through. After that, he toss the paper to the ground and descended the stairs. Liliana saw that rage in his grimaced face.

He had already worn his mask and disguise, why was he in disguise anyway? She couldn't ask now because it wasn't the right time. He didn't look convincing as he was in a bad mood. What was in that newspaper that changed his mood? Tristan noticed her presence and her worried gaze on him but he ignored it. What happened just now. . .No, what he read in the newspaper just now wasn't a coincidence. He jerked to the gate but Liliana stopped him by grabbing his hand.

Tristan jerked his hand off and turned to her. Before he could talk, she held both his elbows and looked into his eyes. "What's wrong?" She asked. "I saw you are angry."

"Liliana," he grunted. He couldn't tell her anything now until he had confirmed what he read. "When I'm back I'll explain to you, go to work," he told her trying so hard to keep his cool because right now, he was fuming and didn't want to vent his anger on Liliana, she might get hurt because of that. So, he swallowed his anger and spoke to her calmly but she could still sense his anger and rage.

Liliana released his hand. "Tristan," she whispered. Liliana suspected he wanted to go kill someone.

Tristan already knew that. "I'm not. okay? Just. . . When you are back, I'll tell you," he said and turned away. The next moment, she lost sight of him.

Liliana sighed, fear and concern shuddered through her as she looked in the direction she lost sight of him a while ago. What happened? Why was he in a bad mood? Why was it that whenever they patch things up, things to detach them come out of nowhere? Liliana sighed again and turned around to go enter her car. He had told her earlier that once he was back, he'd explain it all to her but curiosity couldn't make her wait.

On her way back, her gaze landed on the newspaper he was reading and in haste, she went to pick it up and checked what he read that caused his mood to rotten.

Liliana couldn't pinpoint what he read because there was so much news reported in the paper. She sighed in frustration and toss the paper just as Tristan did earlier. Liliana scratched her forehead and sighed again. That means she had to wait until he comes back.

She descended the stairs, opened her car door, threw her bag in before entering and driving out in that frustrating mood.
