Although he was overjoyed to see her, he faced the challenge of winning her heart again as she had forgotten about him.

Had she been so harsh to him? Was he already pissed off? He couldn't possibly be pissed off, he told her, he loved her so why would he...

Why wasn't he looking at her or even checking if she was eating? Liliana picked up her cutlery and begin to dig in.

"Yes, I was even thinking of hiring a secretary you see," she heard Tristan say to the lady whose name was Racheal, Liliana knew because Tristan had asked for her name during their conversation that was still ongoing. Why wasn't he paying his attention to her? Instead, he was looking at Racheal.

"I can do that," Liliana heard Racheal volunteer.

"I like that, offering you a job and knowing you needed it, you didn't hesitate unlike a girl I know who has this pride, I offered her...well, she hasn't given me her answer yet," he finally decided to eat so Liliana pushed forward so he could see her but he didn't look at her.

His step
