The training begins

{1st POV, Ethan}

Entering the living room where everyone is staying. I discover all my aunts are again encircling Alizée as she is telling them about her past and how she got herself caught up in that situation. My aunts are listing carefully too.

"Humph! Bastard. He deserves to be skinned alive!"

Nuri curses after she heard all the terrible things that happened to Alizée.

"That noble is also a son of a bitch. Selling her out just to curry favour with some garbage prince."

Leviathan did the same.

The others nodded in approval. As Apep began to speak.

"This is the reason I don't like men at all. They are all just perverts and every one of them is the same trash."

Again all of them acknowledged.

"But Ethan is different, he is the only one who never behaved pervertedly. Even when I tease him so extensively and reveal my body to him, he never behaved weirdly."

Hearing Ehecatl's words they all had an odd look on their faces and glared at her.

On the other side, my eyebrows twitched furiously.

'What is she talking about? so she was deliberately displaying her skin to judge my temperament..'

It looks like my aunts are more tricky than I give them merit for. The words 'never underestimate anyone' is accurate after all. Thank god I never attempted to peep at them when there was an opportunity. Well, what there are saying is indeed true. I've seen how many people gawk at them with passion but don't dare to try anything foolish. My aunts are all monarchs and very powerful too, as they have been at the monarch stage for a long time.

"Although I have my scepticism regarding what you have done was appropriate or not, still what you are telling is true."

Nuri also agrees with Ehecatl's claim.

Apep exclaimed arrogantly while puffing out her chest. Making everyone roll their eyes at her.

"Humph! Don't speak nonsense, we all took care of him."

This time it is Leviathan who spat at Apep's proclamation.

"Yeah! Don't think just because you fed him when he was little you can take all the credit. I was the one who spend the most money to buy those rare treasures."

Nuri spoke in outrage.

"Yes, don't try to act all high.."

Just like that, a new of round disagreements began about who was the one who care for me the most.

"Hey! All of you stop! I know all of you love me the most. So don't try to measure your feelings for me."

Not able to take their heated up argument any longer I shouted and they all shut their mouth.

"All of you are special to me, so don't make it a competition like who loves the most."

Hearing my remarks they all held their head down, in embarrassment.

"Sigh, listen I love you all the same so don't fight."

Saying that I revealed a bright smile. Looking at my smile a smile formed on their lips too.

Apep apologies and the others followed her and everybody said sorry as well. The only one silent throughout the entire ordeal was Alizée, she did not know what to say so she used her right to remain quiet.

"Forget it, don't you want to hear what affinities I have?"

Deciding to change the subject, I brought out my test results. And like I expected everyone's mood turned excited.

"Yes! So what affinities do you have? Quickly tell us?"

Nuri shouts with excitement as the others too gave a nod, prompting me to speak.

"He has chaos and space affinities same as mine."

Just as I was about to open my mouth, Tiamat spoke before me. She informed me earlier that she has something to do and told me to come here alone.

I heard her words in my mind, looks like she is still afraid I might say something wrong.

I did as she said and nodded my head.

"Really! That's great. Then he will be very strong."

Apep exclaimed happily.

Ehecatl pouted, she truly wish to have space magic as Tiamat. She explained it will be easier for her to avoid her work, she also won't have to fly anymore to travel.

Leviathan congratulates me.

I smile and assured them.

Currently, I'm resting on my bed alone. Today was hectic, to say the least, I killed for the first time. Rescued my first capture target Alizée and even got her as my new maid. All-n-all a lot happened today.

I'm pondering what to do with my skill points and all the AP and KP; I accumulated throughout the years, as the shop is open now.

After thinking hard and evaluating the pros and cons, I choose to use my skill points on space as this will be my go-to ability because I can't use destruction magic in public.

Shit...at this speed, it will take me a hell of a long time. I still have to obtain 32 more skill points to upgrade my space magic to the next order.

I suspect the person who reincarnated me in this world didn't want me to slack off even for a moment. Not like I have the right to complain after getting a second chance.

With skills out of the way, now I should take a look at the shop as well. I should probably buy a technique to learn how to properly use my space magic, and if possible buy one technique for my chaos magic as well.

Instantly a screen filled with many words written on it appeared in my mind.

I choose the technique option and a screen filled with several techniques came up.

I scrolled through them one by one. There were many impressive and interesting techniques listed. Still, I ignored them all and went to the section related to space magic. Many good techniques caught my eye.

[Spacial cube: User can create cubes using the surrounding space, all the mana inside the cubes will be distorted. The trapped opponent will not be able to cast any more magical attacks.

Price: 30000 AP, 60000 KP

Note: if the opponent is physically strong enough to break the cube, they can break free.

Portal manipulation: Users can create portals to transport everything and even themselves, transport the incoming attack or use the portal to sent attacks.

Price: 25000 AP, 50000 KP

Note: The portal in itself is not lethal, this technique is more of a supporting type.

Barrier construction: User can create all kinds of spatial barriers...]

There is no end to the list, several different and unique techniques are all put together here inside the system. But I was searching for an attack based technique, also a movement technique if possible. My defence is more than enough for now.

Soon, I found a very interesting attack type technique called slice.

[Slice: User can make countless invisible sharp space blades, for slashing the enemy. These special blades can adjust themselves depending on the targets toughness and mana level to cut them down in one fell swoop. Blocking them is nigh- impossible for an enemy of the same power level as the uses.

Price: 40000 AP, 80000 KP

Note: The blades can only reach up to 5 meters away from the user, the blades can only adjust to cut opponents one stage above them.]

Although the reach is not comparable to some of the very long attack type techniques. The ability to adjust itself to cut anything one stage above me is too broken. The technique grants me almost impenetrable defence as my thought acceleration can slow downtime for me to react faster, allowing me to use slice to cut them down before their attacks hit me.

I shouted excitedly in my mind, though it will almost empty my affection points. I can earn them back so it is fully worth it.

After acquiring the attack technique, it was time to find a movement technique. However, much to my disappointment I don't have enough points to buy any technique. My AP is all used up andy KP is not enough to buy any technique.

'Whatever, I'll make do with it for now.'

Now that I can use magic, I'll go and kill monsters to farm KP. With that thought, I closed my eyes to take some rest.

"Wake up."

I heard a voice from the side as I open my eyes the person who came to my view is Tiamat. Wearing her usual silver dress.

It has been a few hours since I fall asleep. Standing up, I looked at her in confusion. Why did she come at a time like this to call me?

"What happened grandma?"

I asked her to which she answered with a frown.

"Didn't I say we will start your training? It is time to go."

'Ohh, so we will begin training..!'

I'm getting eager to try my new move as well. Also, I like the feeling of getting stronger.

"Okay! So where are we gonna be training?"

"Just follow me I have the right place."

Leaving those words she teleported us to an empty place, with nothing surrounding us. Yet, I got the feeling of strange comfort, coming from this place. As if it is my true home.

"This is the place I use to hibernate, there is a steady flow of chaotic mana and spacial distortion here. So this is the best place to learn both chaos and space magic."

Tiamat explained, looking at my questioning gaze.

'Humm, indeed this is the best place..'

I only nodded in understanding. Now it makes sense to feel this comfortable here, as this place is the most optimal for any chaos dragons.

"So before we began, let me tell you this first. I won't teach you any of my techniques."

"Huh? Then what will you teach me?"

I'm really confused now, then what are we doing here?

"This is for your own good if you practice my moves then how will you achieve your intent? So it will be for the best. Instead what I'll teach you is the basics of how our abilities work and teach you in combat."

She clarified my doubts with that.

Basically, she will teach me the fundamentals and train me in actual combat. This is also not bad, I'm really inexperienced at fighting. In a fight, it will not matter how many strong skills you have if you don't understand what to do with them and use them properly. This way it will also save me the explanation I'll have to give her if I abruptly start to use my incredible moves.

"So, tell me what do you understand about the chaos and space magic?"
