Chapter 2

Yu Wan looked at her brothers with a helpless smile and ate her breakfast. Her brothers were always like this, they valued her more than their reputation and their life.

Thinking about how they had died in her previous life brought tears to her eyes but she held it back so that her family wouldn't be worried.

After eating breakfast, she then took her bag before following her oldest brother to his car. She then slammed the door without looking back because she already knew the expressions she would see at the back would be her second brother looking at her with a heartbroken look.

Her brothers always fought about the littlest thing like who would drop her to school, who would seat beside her and other trivial things like that.

Yu Chen looked at Yu Bao with eyes that showed that he had won the round before he entered the vehicle.

As soon as Yu Chen entered the vehicle, the car drove off leaving Yu Bao who stared at the car gritting his teeth in anger.

"When will you and second older brother start acting normal" Yu Wan asked Yu Chen with a helpless tone.

"We are acting normal" Yu chen replied acting clueless about what Yu Wan was talking about.

Looking at her older brother that was feigning ignorance about what she meant, Yu Wan couldn't help but sigh.

Seeing that there was no third part again trying to steal his sister away, Yu Chen was in a very good mood and tried his best to please her by sending more money to her account.

Yu Wan looked at her phone and when she saw that her brother had sent another 1,000,000 yuan, she couldn't help but look at Yu Chen with eyes that showed that she didn't understand why he was giving her money again.

"Wan Wan, that is pocket money from me, you can use it to go shopping with your friends later after school" Yu Chen explained with a straight face.

Yu Wan thanked her brother with a smile on her face before looking away with a weird look on her face. Ever since she got married to Mu Chen in her past life, she hardly got any pocket money and the money she spent was earned by her.

When the car reached her school, she got down and closed the door before waving to her brother to leave.

Yu Chen looked at her one more time before telling the driver to drive off. When Yu Wan saw that the car had finally disappeared, she then turned around and walked towards the lecture hall where she was supposed to have classes.

When she was about to enter the building, she heard a very familiar and annoying voice that she could never forget.

"Wan Wan wait for me" Huo Ling shouted while jogging to meet up with her.

Yu Wan wanted to continue walking and pretend that she had not heard her but her plans were foiled when the person that was near her tapped her shoulder to tell her that someone was calling her.

Annoyed and fraustrated that nothing was going according to her plan, she glared at the person who was responsible and was stunned when she saw him.

'It's him' she thought. Wan Wan had thought of the different reactions she would have on seeing him again in this life but when the day finally came, she didn't know how to react.

She wanted to confront him to ask why he always treated her the way her did but she didn't know how. Her heart hurt when she thought about how he hurt her in the previous life but she knew that he had no memories of the past so she looked away to face the troublesome person coming towards her.

"Xiao ling" Yu Wan called out to her in a very soft voice and moved towards her like she hadn't tried to avoid her.

Huo Ling jumped on her hugging her like a koala. The both of them had always been close ever since when they were little. Huo Ling being the clingy one and Yu Wan being the mature one.

Yu Wan looked at her face after the hug without saying anything wondering what she had done to make her act the way she did in their past life.

They held each other just the way they always did before finally entering the lecture room.

"Wan Wan, I missed you so much but my father didn't let me come out as I was grounded so i wasn't able to see you" Huo Ling complained with a pout on her face.

"what did you do this time?" Yu Wan looked at her with a suspicious gaze and Huo Ling couldn't help it but look at Yu Wan with a more aggrieved look.

"I only used his card to buy some clothes and he got angry" Huo Ling said while looking at Yu Wan trying to see if the tattic worked but when she saw that Yu Wan wasn't buying it, she let out a sound that showed she was annoyed that Yu Wan didn't believe her.

Yu Wan looked at her best friend with a helpless gaze. She knew that was not the reason why her friend was grounded but she didn't expose her.

When the lecturer finally entered the hall, it instantly became quiet that if a needle had fallen on the floor, it would be heard. When the professor saw them like this he was very satisfied before he finally started his lecture.

The lecture lasted for two whole hours but no one complained because they knew that complaining would only let him increase the time he used to lecture.

When he finally left, Huo Ling pretended to collapse on Yu Wan which made Yu Wan curse under her breathe. She could have escaped if it wasn't for Mu Chen's intervention.
