Chapter 5

Immediately Fu Yan got home, she was met with her mother's look of anger.

Knowing what was going to happen, she didn't even resist and let her mom beat her as usual before taking her to the hidden board inside the house telling her about why she should befriend Yu Wan so that their plans could come to fruition.

Ever since Fu Yan could understand words, her mother had always told her about her real father and their family.

She had told her about how her father had abandoned her and her mother and also about how she was going to enter her father's life once again.

For the past 18 years, Fu Yan had listened to all her mother's sermon and thus hatred towards Yu Wan and her family had increased everyday.

She had to memorize Yu Wan's likes and dislikes because according to her mother, Yu Wan was the only weak link in the family that she could use to enter the family and that was why she had studied hard so she could enter the same school as Yu Wan through the scholarship program which she succeeded in doing.

After the whole one hour lecture from her mother, Fu Yan entered her room with no emotion showing on her face.

Her mother's first plan to bring Yu Wan home was a fail and that was why she was beaten by her mother.

She blamed Shen Yu for her failure and decided that she would surely bring Yu Wan home the next day.

Yu Wan was on the way home with Yu Bao when the car suddenly came to an abrupt halt. It was so fast without any warning that Yu Wan's head turned red as her head had hit the chair in front.

When Yu Bao saw that his beloved sister's head was bruised, he got angry abd looked at the driver with a cold expression.

It was so scary that the driver broke out in cold sweat before cursing the cause of his misfortune. He already knew that his salary would be reduced all thanks to the person that caused it.

"Yyyoungg master, someone ran to the front of the car and I had to stop so that i wouldn't cause an accident" The driver tried to explain the situation to Yu Bao hoping that he would understand and not deduct his salary.

"Just go and check on the person that we hit" Yu Bao said while looking at his sister's head with pain in his eyes. The driver immediately came out of the car to check up on the person that he had hit.

His sister was so fragile and no one has ever hit her before. Her skin was so white and soft that a tiny flick on her skin would make it red and now looking at her forehead that had turned extremely red that looked like it would bleed at the slightest touch, Yu Bao couldn't help but blame himself.

Yu Wan on seeing her brother blane himself for what happened couldn't help but laugh on seeing his expression. His face looked like the pleading emoji which looked quite funny on someone as old as him.

If it were a child doing the expression, people would feel like he was cute but it looked quite funny when someone her brother's age did it.

Yu Bao on seeing his sister laugh could help but feel aggrieved but on seeing her head, he decided to tell the driver to stop at the nearest provision shop so that he could buy something cold to reduce the redness.

Meanwhile, the driver looked at the person he had 'hit' and heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that there was no bruise on his body.

He then looked around hoping to find someone that knows the person nearby but was dissapointed when he saw that there was none.

He then walked to the car to report his findings.

Yu Bao furrowed gis brow, he really didn't understand why this had to happen when he went to pick up his sister.

Sighing at his fate, he decided to send the person to the hospital since he couldn't leave him on the street.

He asked Yu Wan to sit in the front sit with the driver as he didn't want her to be near the stranger. 'Who knew if he had one contractable disease' he thought while looking at the man the driver was carrying to the car.

His expression was focused on the man that he didn't notice Yu Wan's face getting pale.

She really didn't understand why they just couldn't go their seperate ways, they had already met twice already within the span of a day.

'Was fate playing with her' She then closed her eyes as she really didn't want to look at him.

Out of sight, out of mind was what she was intending to do.

After dropping him in the hospital and paying the hospital bills,they left the hospital.

Turned out that he had passed out, out of fear and that was why he was unconscious and not because he had been hit.
