Alice knocked on Oliver's door and felt hesitant while waiting for someone to open. Any normal person would have stayed away and never looked back at this world thought Alice, but no, here she stood, wanting answers. There were many things on her mind but something that had plagued her all day besides all the reincarnation and vampire stuff, was how was she healed? She remembered Trevor tending to her wounds, but it didn’t seem like he was doing anything special. I have to ask him about it, she thought. 


As Alice went over all her questions in her head, the door opened and it was Oliver. She looked at him and saw the dark bags under his eyes as if he had not slept for days. He reeked of whiskey and cigarette and looked just about ready to die. 


“I didn’t think I would," said Alice. "But there are so many things I need to know, because if what you said is true, I need to know everything about my past lives and about the world that you come from.”
