Alice stood in the lift with her files in hand still trying to figure out what to do with the situation regarding Jason. He had forced himself onto her and it was unacceptable, but Alice could not get the thought out of her head that the Jason from the night before was not acting like himself. Alice felt conflicted but didn’t have time to make up her mind for she was pushed out of the lift on her floor.


Alice looked around the room and saw the group that was invited to the dinner party the night before, Sammy and Brian included, still talking about the party and how much fun they had. Alice looked around in the group and didn’t see Jason standing with them and felt a slight sense of relief but did not completely let her guard down for he could still have been somewhere within the office.
