Chapter 42. Lost

I was unconsciously laying on a cold surface.

All I could remember was that it was very dark when I ran with flash into the forest. I passed with a speed of light and no one could even catch a glimpse of my silhouette. I passed like a quick wind blowing with no direction and I landed in an unknown place.

I had barely made a month in New York and the last time I was here was when I was still a kid so I wasn't familiar with the place. I only had a few memories that popped into my mind once in a while.

Everything I saw before falling unconscious was red and I had a strong yearning for blood which needed to be solace. That kind of urge I had tried to control for close to a century, yet I still had no control over. Dues rendering me hazardous.

In my unconsciousness, I thought I was laying on the humid floor of my basement.
