Chapter 44. Bowden, Jackson’s friend.

As if it wasn't hard enough on my side, after work that day, my best friend wasn't picking up my calls. The only person to who I could confine and my only friend since secondary till date. How the hell was I going to express my feelings. I had to keep everything to myself.

We hardly visit each other on weekdays because of our busy schedules. It was late and I was tired I even thought of procrastinating my visit to Nelly's place. yet I boarded a car to her place. I had to she wasn't picking up her call and since the 25th I had not seen her and it was January already. Going to check on her was the least I could do it.

"Miss, we have arrived!" the taxi driver woke me up in a haste. I had fallen asleep. Indeed, I need to rest. She had an apartment in one of the big buildings in the Lexi quarters, — a rich quarter.
