Chapter 52.

When I moved out of the car, I realised we were stationed at his place already. I didn't even realise the time passing or the moment we arrived. Anyway, it was normal, I was busy doing something else. I saw Sam with an earpiece strutting not too far from the car.

"Lynne, stop right there!" he ruled ruthlessly as he followed me out of the car. A freezing chill moved down my spine at the sound of his fierce voice and I knew I had pissed him off already or perhaps more than I should have. I paused, reluctantly. "Now, come back here" he ruled.

"Fuck! What the hell does he think he is" I told myself and yet I walked back to him like I was hypothesised. I knew he was pissed so I went to him with a very sorrowful glance on. So sorrowful that no one could resist.
