Rin’s Help
Haru waited for the fireball to land but even seconds later it didn't came.He opened his eyes and saw Rin carrying him on a princess carry.
Haru's pride shattered but for now he just thanked to Rin for saving his sorry ass.Rin let him down and she runned to the fireball spitting zombie.
Rin runned near to zombie and halted infront of it there was 15 or so cm between the zombie and her.She took out her gun and put the muzzle under the chin of the zombie.
Rin pulled the trigger three times and her face covered with the slimy blood of zombie.Fireball Zombie fell down lifelessly and Rin heard the system notification.

"Hey Rin did you saw me transform while fightimg with the zombies?"Haru asked, right now his form was back to a human.
"Yeah Haru-nii you were so cool!!!"said Rin with stars in her eyes.
Haru lighted a cigarette and gave one to Rin as well.'I am thinking about things much.Rin was always with me she wouldn't be scared from me.To my surprise she actually find it cool.Thats right that is why i must protect her.'though Haru and patted Rin on the head.
*KYUN*
Rin made a cute sound like a bunny and smokes came out from her head.Her cheeks blushed like a tomato but she let Haru pet her more.
"Rin my back is burned and i don't think i can keep on going.Is it okay for us to return home? We have a little bit of supplies left.We can go on scavenging tomorrow."Haru said with sorrow in his voice.Because of his dumbness they had to go home early.
"Okay Haru-nii we have first aid kits back in home i believe that i can treat you a little."
They walked for a hour but on the halfway they had to rest a bit because of Haru.His endurance was nearly two times of a normal human but he was injured right now and struggling to forget the pain.
Rin was on full alert mode all the way to the house.She knew that Haru's condition is worse than what he is saying to her.He was talking with a bitter voice and his back was horrifying.
Rin decided to trick her stupid brother when they were in the house.If she can't let him drink the health elixir then Haru's injury surely going to take at least a month to recover.
Haru was still in a bad mood.Today they hit the jackpot but he lost something more important.His pride.He didn't stopped smoking untill they came to their house.Emerald cigarette isn't like the other cigarettes.It didn't hurt Haru's lung nor Rin's.
Emerald cigarette was a blessing in disguise.Even if its dropped from a F grade gift box it was still better than most things.Even tiny bit of relaxation is important to not break in this apocalypse.
On the way back they saw the zombie horde Haru saw earlier.The zombie horde was still cornering the school next to their house.Eventually they had to clear the area near to their home but now was not the time.
Rin opened the lock of their house and when Haru get inside she locked it again and reinforced it with a couch like always.
"Haru-nii i am going to treat you.Lie down on your face."Rin said to Haru and used her ace.Looking at Haru with her watery eyes.
"Uhh just stop it Rin i get it."Haru gave up and did what his sister said.
"Haru-nii can you give me elixir i think i have a poison in my body because of the zombie blood."
Haru forget his pain when he heard Rin.He took out the elixir with a swift motion and hurriedly gave it to Rin.Haru cursed himself again and sweared to his soul that he is never going to make the same mistake.
Rin took it and went to bathroom after she applied some lotions on Haru's back.Her plan was succes.She used her brothers weak side against him and now all she need to do is let him drink this.
She put the elixir on a glass but the purple colour of it was a problem.She was running out of time though.There was many questions mark about the elixir.She didn't know that if the elixir should be used in a time after opening it or something else.
Rin had a brilliant idea.She is going to tell Haru that this is a soup! She poured the elixir into a bowl again.
Haru saw that his sister was coming towards him with a bowl.In the bowl there was a purple soup.He looked fearfully at Rin and played dumb.
"Um Rin what is this?"
"This is a soup i made for you Haru-nii.Please drink it i worked hard."Rin said with a fake sad voice but to Haru it was real.
His love and respect for Rin clouded his mind and he look at the soup last time.He knew that Rin wasn't a good cooker but this was much.How can someone make a purple soup!
He just looked at Rin and saw her eyes full with expectation.He just opened his mouth and waited for the flavor.
To his surprise it was actually tasty.He gulped the leftovers in one go.Then he felt that his back was healing rapidly.
Rin deceived him.
But Haru wasn't aware of the mess he made.Rin understood that Haru thought about her cooking skills and when she saw Haru with closed eyes and open mouth with fear on his face, she decided to punish him.
