Vika's POV
"We will never be together, Vadon. I would rather die than lay with you, you murderer!" I snapped.
Vadon smirked and got off the bed. He straightened his clothes.
"Well, then, I can be a real murder," he drawled.
He pounced again, this time eyes wild with only one desire: to kill me.
I dodged and kicked Vadon in the back.
"You b*tch. You're not stronger than me," he growled. He spun around and grabbed my arm.
"Oww," I hissed. His fingers were tight on my wrist, closing like hungry jaws, ready to snap my bones.
I shoved my knee into his stomach.
Vadon blocked with his arm. He looped it around my leg. I was stuck, his vice-like hands crunching my wrist and ankle.
Well, I saw this playing out better in my head. ‘Good going, Vika. You've really gotten yourself into a mess this time.’
He was so strong. I couldn't twist loose.
It had to be the pills Asher told me about.
