I did my best to appear nonchalant as I ordered a drink at the bar, putting myself just barely within earshot of the two sketchy captains, who seemed to be getting a little too much enjoyment out of their time together to be purely casual. 


My suspicion only spiked when the two abandoned their drinks and headed toward the doors leading outside. I waited for a couple of moments before slipping off the barstool I had perched on and followed the two a few paces behind. 


I slipped out of the tiniest space in the door possible and looked around. They were nowhere in sight. I shut the door as quickly and quietly as I could, trying to figure out where they could have disappeared to so quickly.
