Chapter 30: Xiathera

Xiathera gripped Mialtros’s arm as she ran towards Kalzek. She tapped her staff, wrapping them in ice once more.

“Kalzek was so badly injured, he needed to sew his skin together to keep himself alive. He began to obsess over Arnsal’s powers. Started working out the plan we deal with now…to revive Arnsal from his slumber, intent this time to destroy the God once and for all. Death for Death. The Godly way.”

They returned to Bytethleon’s temple. Mialtros tried to move, but her body was frozen to the floor.

Xiathera winced, breaking free of her shell to free the younger girl.

“Forgive me Mialtros. Reliving time…it doesn’t matter whether it is your own or not; you are still affected. The longer you spend in time the more frozen you become.”

Mialtros waved off her and Mewl’s concern, laughing as the cat began licking the ice from her skin. Xiathera walked to Dimira who presented her mane to the Guardian. Xiathera’s hand dove within the hairs, rooting around for something.
