Chapter 43: What Gods Have Wrought

One by one, the creatures rolled to their bellies, crawling along the floor.

Heading straight towards the cages that held the Gods.

Writhing against its chains, Ghirti’s eyes blazed with flames, its tail slamming the ground. Mewl was clawing at the air, small wings flaring on his back fluttering harshly, pushing him up and away from the cage floor. Jiquexi pulsed rapidly and hid inside Othalnier who rolled his waters erratically.

Kalzek stepped off Arnsal, giggling as he picked up one of the creatures headed for the golden wolf. He danced around the room with it, humming a loud tuneless song. Onto the scraggly haired man he threw the creature, flicking his wrist to open the door.

He grabbed creatures from off the floor and thrust them into the hall.
