A Game of Chess

“If you kill me how would you know the truth about your grandfather’s murder?” he jeers making Athena’s blood boil.

“You won’t say anyway. It’s better you die” she says. He smirks knowing she will not be able to do it.

“Oh Athena, you are still so emotional. I thought you would be the same when it comes to your grandfather as you are with the men in Arcillia” he comments with a tsk.

The nerve he has to call her that! “Tell me why you called me here?”

“I want to see you, Amora,” he says with sarcasm. Athena would have scoffed at this if it not for the situation she is in. “C’mon, you don’t remember the time we used to play? Alas! I miss those days.”

“I don’t think you miss any of the time you spent with us. Hell, you fucking don’t regret the evil deeds you did!” she snaps at him.
