Abandoned

I once read a story about a girl. I don't remember much about the story but her guy friend betrayed her and made her lose something so precious, something she would never get back or could replace.

Now I won't say he didn't know or it wasn't intentional because it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if he was reckless or drunk or was caught in the moment because the damage was already done. And sometimes apologies don't fix anything, some say it never does but on some occasions I believe it does. In this case though no word he would say could fix it, they were useless.
